Which God are you worshipping today?

I recently asked What would you call the eighth day of the week? ↗ and got a range of witty answers.

However some people ( I won't embarrass them) suggested Venus day or Mars day. As many of you know some European countries already do so. Mardi in French, martedì in Italian, martes in Spanish, Dydd Mawrth in Welsh plus others all mean Mars day..
Similarly Vendredi, in French, venerdì in Italian and dydd gwener in Welsh mean day of Venus.

Now I reckon we've got a good mix of nationalities on GAG and I suspect some Asian or African countries don't follow suit naming countries after gods.

So Today, what day is it and which god (or other thing) do you name it after?

Viernes, Venus... Venus
Sábado, Saturno.. Saturn

Domingo is Sunday, but in Spanish is more like "day of the lord" or "day of the (lord) sun"

I went with "leap" day because it would be day in which we "jump" from one week to the next, lol

I am not a worshipper myself but I do find it very strange that so many people who are make such crappy choices.

Why would you worship a kiddy fiddler or some faggot that got nailed to a piece of wood when you could worship a God like Thor or Odin they are way cooler.

Or simply worship the sun, from which we get the energy for all life on Earth.

No wonder capitalism is so successful, people will buy anything.

Same ones I have been worshiping for years, The Chaos Gods. People over the years have been trying to tell people how they should think, speak and feel. To the point where people on both sides of a debate are quick to turn on you if you don't agree with them. So why not align yourself with being that can't be contorted?

Interesting question. I had to look it up... Tuesday is named after the Norse god Tiw, who is the Norse equivalent of Roman Mars and Greek Ares, gods of war.
