i’m catholic
+1 yI was baptized as a Methodist. I used to go to church, but a lot of happened that's made me lose faith. Even last year when I was homeless, I parked my car next to a church, not in a parking lot, but on a public street, and the church had my car towed because I had everything I owned in it and it looked tacky, I guess. That car was my house, lol, so I was on my own, no protection from God.
And to that one person that says I didn't have enough faith, live out on the street for a weak and see how well you're protected, lol. Maybe one day I'll get my faith back. I felt no connection to God though, and I'm not a bad person.

If you feel no connection to God, guess who it was who hung up? Clue: It wasn't God. If you seek, you will find. Fact is not many seek because they are living their own lives, just like in the days of Noah. And guess what happened to them?

Thanks for MHO
A week ago, I was attacked by two religious nut-cases. Not literally, but figuratively.
They asked if I believed in God. I told them I don't believe in religion, but I believe in a higher power. They demanded to know what this higher power was.

I told the two dorks that I believe in the entity that created butterflies. They checked their notes and left me alone. I took the wind out of their sails.

+1 yI am not affiliated with any particular religion. I was raised in a secular family and I do not identify with any specific faith or beliefs. But I do believe that spirituality and the concept of a higher power can be a personal and individual experience, and it's something that can be explored and appreciated regardless of one's religious affiliation or lack thereof.
10 ReplyNone. When I am asked this by anybody who is very pushy on the subject I tell them “I am god. The bible says we are made in gods image, therefore I am her clone.” I have no idea if that is actually in the bible but it has the desired effect and most people give up asking me at that point.

+1 yCatholic but I don't go to church or believe in the church, since they protect pedophiles and all the disgusting things did to people like residential schools, baby and mother things, the Magdalene Laundries and many other atrocious things through the years.
