Praying is good but how many of you do more when you can?

People often say they will pray, when they could be helping. God gives you tools to help, please do so. Praying may get you those tools, use them.

This is one of my favorite quotes (translated.)

"THERE ARE SITUATIONS THAT ARE NOT ONLY PRAYING"
In my most difficult times, when I cried out for help, I used to get a lot in response: “I WILL BE PRAYING FOR YOU.” And I understand, but there were times in my life where that phrase didn't bring me peace, because I wasn't sure if they really would or not. Like myself I have applied this phrase, and until being on the other side of the face, I have been able to understand that there are situations where more action is required than just prayer.
*When a person is sick@ in the hospital, don't just pray. If you're available, visit and bring him a little gift to cheer him up or buy whatever he needs.
* If you hear of a person or family going through financial needs and they don't have food, and you have enough money to help them, go and gift them a pantry.
* If you hear of someone who is having a hard time or any other ailment, invite them to a coffee and listen to them. Don't stay alone praying.
Am I saying Praying is bad and useless? No, I'm not saying that. But you must understand that praying is accompanied by good deeds and deeds.
Just as the Apostle John explained it “But if anyone is well financially and does not help his brother who is in need, how can there be love of God in him? “My children, let our love not be in word or outward lips, but let us love with truth and prove it in deeds” (1 John 3:17-18).
It's not just caring and saying, "WoW, so sad, I'm sorry for what you're going through." No no just say, "Brother, I will pray for you so that God will help you." Let's be leaders moved by compassion and act more than just saying phrases than just watching.

Dont just stand there and pray, help.
Don't just stand there and pray, help.

I do what I can when I can, but it never seems like enough.
