I think God might want me with a guy that can bring me closer to my spiritual purposes.

Meaning, if beauty is bad for me, Jesus might not give me a beautiful man

If riches or poverty is bad for me, God might not give me a rich man or a poor man

If being entertained is bad for me, Jesus might give me a guy who hates parties or vacations

My pastor said if something brings you nearer to salvation, it’s probably tied with His purpose in your life
