Only God really knows. It is proven on a human level, as best as it can be, by actions that predominant, but not always perfectly, adhere to the teachings of Jesus. Even some of those might be false, but those who sit their derrieres in church, and then go and steal from their employers, cheat on their spouses, and hate their fellow humans, etc. as a matter of course are definitely false.

It's certainly seems like it's going to be that way. But honestly, I don't really see much changing even if that does happen. Our politics are so consumed and controlled by the religious that I don't see that going away.
