They pretend to be strict but, like any other church, there are several rule-breakers in the midst.

True. But they are quite strict. Not supposed to marry outside the faith. No hot caffeine. No smoking or drinking. Id be excommunicated by now lol

You would be surprised how many Mormons break those rules 😂
I was doing some research and I have a theory as to why no caffeine is allowed. Emma Smith (the first wife of Joseph Smith) tried to poison him via his morning coffee. After that, no caffeine is allowed. Oh, and Joseph and his buddies would chew tobacco and spit it on the floor. Emma got mad because she had to clean it. And, after that showdown, Joseph got the “revelation” that any form of tobacco was forbidden.

I was a Mormon for 15 years. I got a lot of stories 🤣

@Izzy_3991 I agree. I know that when it comes to Mormons, it’s usually hot or cold. Either they are very honorable and practice their faith well, doing good unto others genuinely, following the commandments, or the opposite is true where people use the religion as a status symbol to be fake.
