check in what resonates in your heart and helps you connect with God and continue the good works. none are perfect, all have mature believers and many not mature.

I prefer where the leaders are open, honest and real. It isn't too complicated.

I respond much better to the feel of music in evangelical... the lack of imagery, and open discussions and lack of process. Catholic... isn't even Christian to me.

Choose Jesus, read what He said... find others whom are mature that you admire, and grow.

Methodism. Technically Methodists are part of the Protestant church but being a Protestant doesn't make you a methodist, no siree! You don't want to get mixed up with Anglicans. There are no priests in Methodism. There are bishops but they don't set themselves up as some kind of demigod.

Read the bible and let God guide you, don't look too much into religion and believe in the whole purpose of Christianity, to build a connection with your creator so pray, read the words of God and let God guide you through the rest

You're asking a question that's been debated for forever. I suggest you relax and just read the Bible and know it. Then go to a few different churches. You walk into one and you'll feel at home there. But remember life is a journey and for one part of your life one sec might be correct and when you transition to the next part a different one might be right for you then.
