But in none of them have I ever seen a T. rex or any other dinosaur.
Furthermore, who was Eden? Was he the gardener or did he own the garden?

Trending & News Given my ancestors possibly evolved out of the muck of the earth and evolved from some chimp that fell out of a tree, you should take my advice with a grain of salt over the shoulder. Or were we made in the "image of God" from the energy from some long transformed neutron star that got sucked through a "black hole"? Have to ponder that...
Bible is not clear if the "beasts" were T-Rex or what their names were. I don't think that is what it was trying to communicate and so not specified. Besides, given the timing, would have been very hard to pass along such information and chisel it onto some rocks.
My guess is... there were not. Eden... haven't looked up the name, good question... probably has deeper meaning. The word "rib" has deeper meaning than just what we think today. Have to really study all those words for as I noted, a lot of work to communicate, so they'd condense thoughts and edit more so can say more in less space. Even then, it can be an analogy and story, not all fact and play by play... based upon understanding of the mankind at the time. I hear "eden" means paradise. So it's just saying "everything was awsome and like, totallycool n stuff".
So that to me, would exclude T-rexs for sure! but if they were they, they'd be pets and they'd ride them around or fetch sticks for fire...
Poppy, Poppy, Poppy. I'm a silly yank and even I know who Anthony Eden was. He was an MP and then served as Prime Minister under Queen Elizabeth II after Winston Churchill.
I'm pretty certain that he was the owner of the garden.
And, because it was postwar Britain and certain rationing was still in effect, I'm quite certain that's why he didn't have a T. rex. I mean, maybe you would have found one on the great estates like Chartwell or Blenheim but not a mere Viscount's like Eden.
Because dinosaurs are imaginary creatures that are made by some group of high school students who called themselves scientist back then and people actually believed their little fake stories for naming those things big hard names so people will believe those. 50% of what scientists say about discovering things, animals, coins that belongs to someone 1000,000,000 years ago is totally fake and lies. If only people would use their heads instead of following things blindly, things would’ve been different.
I view the garden story as a literary synopsis designed to teach moral lessons and invite conversation. I do not view it as a historical device used to prove God’s existence and shut down questions about cosmic invention and scientific inquiry.

The real answer is rather complicated because you mention the garden of Eden, which is supposed to have been a place where every living creature lived a happy life. If we set aside the literal significance of the creation's story, humanity was symbolically expelled out of Eden's garden because they started asking questions. Were there dinosaurs? Sure, but far before the mentioned era mentioned in the Bible, and at the time humans appeared to ask questions, the dinosaurs had died out, thus no T. rex either then ;0)
You have to remember that dinosaurs existed before man. When Cain slew Abel, he then went on a rampage and killed the last T. Rex. It wasn't an asteroid or comet that killed the dinosaurs, it was Adam and Eve's son.
i've never thought of the garden being called Eden, no clue why it is but Eden wasn't on earth anyways i think...
but yeah all the pictures we've seen is from the middle ages onwards when the church had the most power in Europe so it's no surprise that people and artists imagined Eden in terms of what they knew of the world as shaped by the church - also, after a quick internet search, apparently dinosaurs weren't discovered until the 19th century
I don’t think T. Rex’s we’re there yet.
god needed extra space to store them since they ate everything and he didn’t want his garden of Eden to have big ass foot prints.
Also, Eden wasn’t a person. It was a space called Eden. Everything in Eden is suppose to tempt.
Eden is CC Capwell’s daughter on “Santa Barbara”. It’s understandable that you don’t know that given that it’s an American soap opera. But it’s the electronic age. You can catch up! Ell oh ell!
The reason you don’t see Tyrannosaurus Rex in the portrayals of the garden is actually perfectly simple. That’s who was commissioned to paint the pieces. Selfies didn’t come around for centuries.
I don't know if there was, but it's all confusing. Why do Adam and Eve have navels in every painting I've ever seen of them?
No T Rex, them along with other dinosaurs lived outside the garden of Eden. Dinosaurs once lived along side man, but wiped out during the great flood. Erosion patterns in the Sahara desert is evidence their was once a great flood.
According to some "experts", yes, but it only ate vegetables.
I knew they had it wrong all along.
@dustybiker You couldn't make this up. But they can.

Must be what happens when you start heavy drinking from kindergarten, straight through.
There were never any dinosaurs. They've always been a hoax.
Eden was the guy who clipped the hedges.
And Jewish space lasers are definitely real.
Eden is a town in New York. It is near Buffalo. It is a real garden spot, especially in the winter.
The dinosaurs had their own section. Where do you think they got the idea for Jurassic Park? Only God didn't hire Newman to code his control systems, so it was all good.
some religious people don't believe that the earth is old enough to have had dinosaurs millions of years ago and their answer is "God put them (fossils) there to test their faith" - which I don't believe
To be fair. I should probably give my garden of Eden a shave soon.
Kind regards,
DoctorSex
Know No is the answer.
If you put it in a different format I may explain what your trying to express, but the garden of, Eden.
NO there was NOT a T. Rex in the garden of EDEN.
Sure, and the T. Rexs was very close to God, so he taught them how to be invisible. :)
The Garden was not on Earth, my dear Welsh compatriot.
Yes, I think the dinosaurs were just hiding when those pictures were drawn.
I just know there was a dinosaurs there. And no it isn't like the dinosaurs in the Hollywood movies like Jurassic Park where they are chasing humans around with extremely sharp teeth.
T-Rex was certainly a "beast of the field".
Eden is a Hebrew word probably even taken from Sumarian. It means paradise, a place of pleasure or possibly luxury
What is time to God? Was there a Dodo? Or a mammoth
Maybe it was owned by Eden and they never saw dinosaurs either but the Bible says that the Earth is not 4 billion years old that it’s only a few thousand years old
Eden was a place. And I doubt there was any T-Rexes. It was a safe haven.
Haha funny, who was Eden 😁
I hope so. Or a purple dinosaur.
Yeah, that bastard ate all the apples. 😂
Liliith took them away with her,,,
Probably never really thought of it before
