How does the Book of Daniel state that repentance unto salvation is accomplished?

Paul claimed salvation and remission came only through the blood sacrifice (of Jesus), but Daniel and the other prophets said something else. How did Daniel tell the King to be Saved, and how did the other prophets tell the people of Israel to repent and be saved?

Daniel told the King to be saved through CHARITY (Rabbi Tovia Singer et al).

Other prophets told the people to be saved by "Pleading the cause of the Orphan and Widow".

charity covers the multitude of sins, but if that is true, then blood sacrifice is not needed to forgive sins, just do good to other people and your sins are forgiven.
