@sheena30 well most arab/Muslim girls cover their hair because in the Quran it say that a women should cover her hair and body most of them follow the Quran and what it says and some do it for modest reasons it depends on the person really like me sometimes i cover my hair and sometimes i dont well its out culture and we try to show respects to our husband if you are married and to out ALLAH i hope that kind of gives you an idea hope it helps you i am not really good at explaining things :)
