The current war between Russia and Ukraine also known as the Donbas War or the Russo-Ukraine War started in 2014 and has been going on for 9 years it never officially ended. And I hate to break it to you but Pro-Russian Separatists covertly backed by the Russian government started it by taking over government buildings in eastern Donbas region of Ukraine that along with several declarations by them started off the war.

And Iraq was more a joint effort by several countries. The US, United Kingdom, Poland, Australia Spain, Italy and several others. So lets not pretend that it was just the US and only the US there was a lot of other countries involved.

Yes God knew you could sin. The word sin is an archery term meaning to miss the mark. God gave you countless and infinite possibilities from you to choose from. And no God doesn't know what you're going to do. He knows everything you can do, everything you should do, and everything you've probably going to do, but not exactly what. Ergo free will. In fact there are three reasons why we keep the comments of God, To be safe. To walk in God's plan for us. And to show others how great God is. Keeping the rules doesn't lead to salvation, it never did. A relationship is what leads to being saved, and God is always wanting to have one with you. So doing what you want might have some bad consequences, and God will still love you if you do. I advise to live a moral and kind and loving life, but you have free will and can do anything you want.
