I feel like my relationship with god is getting weaker as I get older. Does the same thing happen to most people or just me?

I have never been a religious person but I was on good terms with god. However, last 1-2 years, I feel that I have had difficulties believing in god. The same thing happened to you? if yes you believe in god now or not?

Sort of like the jackasses who say "I don't believe in ghosts, but..." or "I'm not racist, but..."

You are either lying to yourself or being a hypocrite. Either way you're suffering consequences, and your own poor choices are the reason. You want to get the good stuff, but without working for it.

It did me. It made less and less sense to me. It took me years to say I no longer believe, mostly because of my upbringing. My dad is a minister and I was afraid to disappoint him. I also had a tinge of what if I'm wrong but that is long gone now.

Happened to me when I was about 7 or 8. I stopped believing in that hokey bullshit right around that time.
