Why do Christians have the false belief that they have superior morals?

I have seen a lot of people claim to be Christians and then just slam everyone else because their beliefs are different.

There was a movie called "The Lady of Fatima", which was based on this event that really happened. The people of Fatima Portugal overthrew the government because religion was their government, and they were pushing Catholicism in everyone's' face and then there was some violence, so the townspeople got fed up and took em down.

Later on, this little girl was outside with her three cousins and the virgin Mary came down from the sky.

but yeah, people kill each other over religion, and it's sad that people put so much faith in God but "Do no wrong" and judge people. Other religions are starting to make more sense to me! My faith is wearing thin because of ignorance!

um kuz it is not false... as i will demosntrate here: you can find atheists who are "polite or nice or kind" but without fear of hell look at what stalin the atheist did and see my mytake about the so called catholic named hitler who was not sent by pope. consider the harm that atheism does as an excuse to justify harming the undoubtedly human fetus and not just a "few rare ones from rape victims" but thousands each day in each state of 50 states. those "kind" atheists justify harm to a human fetus. only religion taught sanctity of life.

My guess would be because you take exception with Christianity ergo it colors your perception that way. I think what you need to remember is God is omnipotent , man is not, even Christians. Even when I became a Christian it still took me 20 years to get a better understanding of God's love. That doesn't mean I don't still make mistakes or get angry. I'll be the first to say I'm very flawed. I would say those Chriistians you're talking about heard God but didn't fully get the message. I try to keep it simple. I always says if you're not doing it from a position of love then you're doing it wrong. I think some Christians forget that from time to time. Our job isn't to judge our brothers and sisters, only to lift them up. Leave any judgment to God.

Because they've killed, enslaved and colonised enough people to ensure that is the case. A man with a gun isn't a someone you can -or fucking should- debate morals with.

P. S. I've known retards who are better people than atheists. Doesn't mean I support all atheists being dunked in a river.

And I've known atheist's who had some of the worst morals I've ever seen people. Bad people on both sides man.

And as a Christian I don't believe I have better or worse morals then anyone else I only have my morals. As for everyone else God gave man the freedom to choose, the freedom to have good or bad morals, make good or bad decisions and at the end of the day people only themselves to blame good or bad the choice was theirs and theirs alone.

It may appear false to you but the Christian root of righteousness is far different from morality. It stems from faith in the incredible that we are already perfect because of Christ's sacrifice. Knowing this should ease your mind. Even if they do something wrong, they are not permitted to judge themselves as sinners as that would be saying the blood of Jesus was impotent.

Following God's word the Bible greatly enhances someone morals as God's commands are all righteous and just.

I don't think any serious professing Christian goes around thinking they are better than others morally though.

i think he meant that when two groups have moral rules he thinks christian moral rules are "not superior" not beliefs.
