You can shop around for religious beliefs.
The thing about you saying our parents shouldn’t push religious beliefs on their children is impossible unless you leave them in the woods to fend for themselves. You’re always going to be teaching your children your values no matter what. Values come from religious practices be it Shinto Christianity Hindu Muslims atheist gnostic dualism (aka transgender) ever parent teaches there children your not gonna get any from that. Even if you put them in a foster home the foster parents are going to teach them values even the state would teach their values on children. There no way of getting away from that
It's not a business, dumbass.
You can't "shop around," any more than you can "shop around" for your career path.
You don't choose your beliefs, only the crowd you want to experience those beliefs with.
It's why you can go to a top school, but end up with nothing. All because you hung around with the crack heads.

in family , parents teach the faith , they think is true so they think they are giving good. for all of the conflicted faiths.
then the kid can ask why you dont believe the other? and see how ignorant his parents are. but if believe something, then would not search for anything different.
still in school kids see various options so they are aware of the "menu"
Wwe have too much of this as it is now. Nobody really needs more, but if you do, just make one up!
No one EVER stopped you. Your weird personal grudge against religion is f-ing bizarre man. Move on. Grow up. You live in a country that allows religious pluralism. Unfortunately they also hate you for your faith.
Like you and the way you hate Christians.
It never was in my family. And generally speaking, most parts of Central and Northern Europe could be considered „post-religious“, anyway.
If you believe why would you?
Social pressure.
they all charge money. why buy a religion?
except the one about grace...
