Why do religions need more parades and festivals?

Religous parades or festivals aka processions are found in many places. But honestly why so much need for it? Just because you believe in your god, is there a need to march across the streets? You don't see too many parades about atheists (it's usually done at a convention, not on the streets), where people yell and clap in the name of reasoning and science; not at the same rate of religious folks.

Well i am not a religious person. But if you need parades as an atheist, just do it just like you want. Nobody stop you.


And as not religious person i support those theists people, because religions contributes national holidays.

Why the hell are you so butt hurt about it? Atheists don't matter in the grand scheme of things, they have nothing positive to offer.

They already offered science, harvested crops and technology. Unlike believing and praying for your god to help starving people.

Because of marketing.

Especially after annual pride parade, some copied that atheist parade.

in my country religious parade and celebration pulls people out of their isolation and force them to become social for some days which is good for their mental health

True religion doesn't support so much show offs , and unnecessary activities and parads.
People have changed the religion face acording to their will and enjoyment.
