Are people in your country religious or what do they think about religion?

I live in Türkiye🇹🇷 and the most increasing thing in my country after Arab hostility is irreligion, especially the generation we call Generation Z is becoming irreligious or they don't care about religion, so what is the situation in your country?

I think there are two religions - preprogrammed social expectations masking as moral value - and authentic dignity and universal care and respect for others. I know this transcends all religions and cultures and demographics and races, but I believe there is healthy and respectful religion and also rude and hateful behaviours masking as religious faith. This does not include or preclude or exclude any faith in a categorical way, all religious people are capable of both good and evil.

I'm happy to hear that. It's happening in the US too, but we're still behind Europe. I think it's happening everywhere, but in some countries it's not visible because it's not safe to renounce religion.

i agree with you that some religion caused harm but godless society is worse, ever watched the news? what godless people do.

@strateguy632 The godless Scandinavians seen to be doing just fine. In the US there are almost no atheists in prisons.

i would say most people here don't actively follow a religion but the majority still believes in "some" sort of "higher power". i personally don't.

Yeah in Turkiye people get distanced from religion because of government we have, the politics they do and filling the country with Arabs everywhere.

@strateguy632 There is no real danger anymore, the civil war in their country is over and they should go back. All they do is causing chaos here and making people angry, thats why Turkish people started to hate them and kick their asses out of from some of the neighborhoods.. we do the things which West can't, however this situation will put my country more into danger.
