Well, if you were to ask me this a few years ago, I would have said that I was an agnostic-theist and that only irrational people are religious. 😂
But now, I would primarily identify as an agnostic (because I don't have any specific existential beliefs) who's only an atheist when confronted with religion.
I didn't quite understand what it meant to believe something at the time, so that's why I added the "-theist" bit at the end of agnostic. Though it could still fit depending on someone's definition of "God," to rule out any confusion, I just say "I'm agnostic" for the most part.
And now I don't believe that the reasons/motivations for why most people believe are "irrational." I just believe that their beliefs aren't based on rational principles. But nonetheless, serve their purpose. Religion is meant to provide a space for a community to meditate amongst each other on existential topics as they climb towards their goals. It's a form of trying to understand the unknown so that they can cope with whatever dangers are ahead/what already plagues them.
Was raised Christian, stayed active in my church until about 21-22 and realized it wasn't for me and never will be.
Currently I consider myself an atheist simply because I can't see myself ever believing in any type of God unless I saw a massive mountain of real, scientific, testable, demonstrable evidence.
However I don't have issue with those who believe I have many loved ones who are believers. I do however take issue with those who use their faith to excuse shitty behavior, or who try to push their faith on me.
Believe me when I say, I was a Christian once. I tried it once already, your version is not gonna change my mind.
I’m a Christian and I believe God loves people of all religions and even the non religious have value to him, the standard is humility and kindness and not theology or ritual. The bible says it’s possible to love people even if your not religious, whether that love survives past death, that is something God knows.
Love God and consider Jesus my best friend. I pray daily and I am an Orthodox Christian. Not one of those Christians that pushes my religion on anyone. I talk about it and try to walk the walk. I try to be the best example I can be. if you have questions I will spend as much time as you want talking about it. As far as other religions I believe we are all worshipping the same God with culture differences. if you look at the seven religions God will call in the end they are all similar. I condemn or judge one for who and how they are worshipping, they are praying and worshipping and that is awesome in my eyes.

Sometimes I hate Christians when they are being hypocritical. I hate everybody for being hypocrites sometimes tbh. But it seems especially wrong to me when Christians are hypocritical in their Christianity. I'm sorry for hating people, including myself. I'm very broken.

There is the potential possibility of any religion being true, simply because I don't think it's fair to judge them all, when I haven't studied them all, despite considering myself to have good reason not to believe.

I believe in God, I don't believe in religion, In my opinion the bigger a church/temple/shrine gets the further it 's concern are about its followers. The small corner church is connected to it members, but the higher up you go it becomes more about power and prestige and influence.

I don't believe in the human-made belief of God because humans are a very stupid, stupid species, but I can't say if there are no creators or not. In other words, I'm Agnostic-atheist.
I hope you know that Islam and violance don't connect with each other AT ALL, I get why u think that, bcs of the wars or the media. But at the end of the day it's about what our book says (The Quran) and I know for a fact that killing is a sin, cursing is a sin, backbiting is a sin, abuse is a sin. Not a fan. Religion, especially the abrahamic religions of the middle east, has been and still is one of the biggest contributors to the suffering of others.
In the first place, there's absolutely no proof that any kind of a god exists... unless you count the Sun. THAT is god!! Without that, we ALL die!! Secondly, The bible contradicts itself over and over again!! Thirdly, religion and god were invented to control the people that believe in it. Certainly not last: if there IS a god, why does it allow people that are SUPPOSEDLY working for it to do nasty things that the bible and god both say are evil? For instance, using the church and the vestments and the power they entrust to these men (and probably women) to procure sexual favours, as it were, from little boys (and probably little girls)? My aunt would sit in front of the t. v. for hours on end watching the religion channel, repeating the rosary indoctrinations over and over again and praying to her deities to help her get over her physical maladies!! Or, to see to it I didn't lose my house last year, etc.. Well, I lost my house, thanks to my ex-sisters, one of whom lives and breathes the bible but, apparently never read the bits that mentioned how you should never fuck over your own mother and brother!! And, that was a week BEFORE Christmas!! And, a year later, a week & a half AFTER this past Christmas, my aunt died BECAUSE of her maladies!! If god can do anything, why couldn't it cure her bladder infection? And, every time you ask a holy roller about this sort of stuff, they ALWAYS have an excuse!! But our prophet (saw) knew, and hundreds of years later it was proven by science to be true. U say the sun is the God, but the sun has also a creator and that creator is more powerful than the sun. Everything and everyone has a creator, things just didn't happen bcs they can and did, no. It's started from 0 to 1. Not from 1 to 2.. Yes the Bible has some confusing verses, but have u ever tried reading the Quran? Religion and God was not invented to control people. Maybe SOME Christians abused their power back in the days, but our prophet (saw) did not go trough all the mental and psychical abuse for power.. And lastly, God let's things happen bcs 1. Our intentions and actions as humans have to be PROVEN by PERFORMING them first, God is not gonna stop every single evil thjng in the world, because us humans are responsible for our actions. That you lost ur house bcs of ur sister is fucking shit and I'm really sorry, but she is gonna fave the consequences in this life and the afterlife...
