Religion in nothing more than a way to control the masses

Religion is good, helps keeps the peace, enforces structure and order

Religion is a very personal thing and each person should just respect each others ideals

Religion is too forced and makes people very judgmental to others who are different

Religion teaches us unrealistic standards of what is good and bad

Believe whatever you want, I dont give a shit. Just keep it to yourself and stop forcing others to abide by its rules or by your sentiments. Push your religion on me, I'll push back harder. Try and force me to conform to your crap, I'll knock your goddamn teeth in.

Abortion against your religion? Don't give a shit, keep it to yourself.

Can't eat pork? Don't eat it then.

No sex before marriage? Cool, don't force high schoolers to abide by your shit.

It's a group to belong to that outsizes nations, and is thus a useful tool of empire.

Unfortunately I think it's also usually used as tool for mind control more than as a path to enlightenment.

If you're religion is leading you towards any kind of hate, evil acts or violence it's time to wake up and think for yourself.

It can be a good force in people's lives too, but I see this less and less.
