Your poll is confusing. Is it yes or no, are we religious or yes or no, is religion dying?

Anyway, I am myself religious, as is my wife. We are traditional Catholics.

Is religion dying? It certainly seems so, and there is good reason to think so. Many Christians (and for the record, Catholics are Christians) are horrifically incompetent in terms of basic catechesis and apologetics, as well as philosophy and theology. There's little, if anything that gives them a sense of transcendent divine reality. Their churches are aesthetically ugly, their liturgies and worship services are barely distinguishable from the average pop concert and give them warm fuzzies, and in all too many cases (even one being so), their pastors are scandalous deviants or have severely misplaced priorities.

Ten different people belong to ten different churches which all claim to believe in and follow Jesus and the Bible, but all still believe ten different things and have ten different interpretations. Then their children go off to college or leave home for the first time and get swept away in the culture. They encounter aggressive rhetoric and questions and challenges to which they don't know how to respond.

Will that last? Maybe for another two or three generations, possibly longer. I think that most Protestant and Evangelical churches are on borrowed time. I think so because of the reasons I've just stated above. But I think that in due time, as many people today forego marriage and children, whereas many practicing and faithful members of religious communities are doing the opposite, there will be a significant turnaround.

not really. just a bit. so no and no. both catholic and protestant are growing in numbers faster than their birth rates, as people become convinced it is the best available option and better than godless agnosticism.

Majority of the people in my country (age 15 and up) say they are not affiliated with any religion. Vast majority are atheist and agnostic while spiritualists take up the small amount of people that don't fall under those labels (and a small portion of the people that do fall under those labels). Religion is growing in the world, but shrinking in the western world.

I'm not religious, but I doubt if religion is dying out globally.

I believe if something is false by it's nature it will go down, however we see in some religion is increasing and their facts and teaching are pretty impressive.🌱
