Do you think God cured my doctor because the bible said He would?

The bible says when you respect weak people, God sustains you when you are sick and restores you from your sick bed.

I know people who became pharmacy professors after getting brain tumours and I know people who were cured from diabetes and I know people who lived over 16 years after liver cancer.

My doctor had a sudden drop in intellectual capacity years ago but now he is intelligent and his professional behaviour is approaching the amazing quality it was before his intellectual issue.

We aren't promised physical healing and material prosperity. In fact, Jesus promised that his followers will experience suffering. Sometimes, God miraculously heals. But that's his prerogative to heal in this current world. We know that those who follow him will be given new bodies that will last forever.

I survived a traumatic head trauma, but it came at a cost. The doctors get most of the credit. Sure God was there, but my parents had to put most of their faith into the doctors also.
