Are you asking why did you feel guilt about certain things even before you accepted Jesus? That’s a good question. You could argue that some things are simply culturally looked down upon due to traditions or beliefs… or morality could be something beyond human nature.

You are less apt to notice doing that same sin after you find God, because you now consider yourself as being better

I didn't do anything severe before either so I dont know but I'm more careful with how I speak of Jesus
