Rapture fanatics say Comet Nishimura is the ticket to Heaven. Will this be another mass suicide event?

For those that might not be aware, the mass suicide I’m referring to is the Heaven’s Gate cult that performed mass suicide in 1997. With the coming of comet Hale-Bopp in that same year, they believed they could “hitch a ride” on the comet into heaven. 39 people died in an effort to go to Heaven with the comet. Now, a christian group is claiming it’s a sign of the rapture due to the comet being discovered by someone with the initials JC and using a bastardized gammatria (the association of numbers to hebrew letters) to show the comet’s path spells out “Yeshua” saying it’s a sign of the rapture and all should be ready. Will there be more deaths as the comet passes earth from Sept 19-22?

Does it really matter? We've had thousands killed in floods in Libya, thousands in the Ukraine war, America can't go a week without a mass shooting etc and let's not forget the millions COVID killed.
A few oddballs topping themselves just means Trump loses a handful of by votes nothing more.
