Neither. Knowledge is knowing- and the more you learn, the more you realize just how much you don't know. This is why Socrates, in knowing that he knew nothing, was not wise, but knowledgeable- but then, the Greeks have always struggled with that distinction. Or perhaps just the translators of Greek.
Neither. Understanding, is true wisdom.
Some things you can never know, and some things you can know, but not understand fully. You'll waste your time trying to know what you cannot, rather than improving your understanding on what you can.

Ask Plato or Disraeli. Wisdom is knowing what you don't know. Anyone who says he knows a lot is a liar.

It is the understanding and perception to take action now that will eventually turn out to be the correct course of action and a positive result.
TRUE WISDOM is knowing, but also knowing that you are not omniscient.
