The "whole universe was in a hot dense state"? how can people believe that without comparing to black holes?

people believe "so called scientists" that all the matter in world was together, but that is lots of mass. even LIGHT can't escape a black hole! how can people trust scientists that "mass like proton went away" from that mass? especially if we know mass of planet "even affected space time" bending space for light that goes straight, certainly more mass dense. seems like scientists are the new popes?

Black holes are misnomers. They’re incredibly dense agglomerations of de-energized mass that can no longer be fused.

The mass/energy equivalence principle is why light is bent by gravity, e=mc².

The Big Bang theory is the best explanation they have to the progression of the universe and why it is still expanding. It’s basically an explosion in a vacuum. It complies with Newton’s laws, thermodynamics, electrodynamics…basically particle physics.

Not only is it expanding, it’s accelerating its expansion and we don’t know why. Dark energy is the last explanation I heard. That’s why the night sky is mostly black. It should be blanketed with starlight but those distant stars are moving away faster than the speed of light. This was confirmed by astronomers.

Science doesn’t answer ‘why’, it answers ‘how’. “Ask a philosopher if you want to know why” was what was muttered when I was in school. Religion and God doesn’t cease to exist because of science. Religions are codes of behavior. In a way, religion is an art that SOME has served us well. Where the science ends, the art begins.

i agree we " observe expansion", and that acceleration is currently unexplained, but the explanation "how" fails to start. surely you noticed that?

dark means "undetected because undetectable" so it is kind of blind faith. since not observed. they claim "added dark matter" to matter prevents galaxy from scattering. we observe not scatter but they e don't know how.

Scientists can only guess. There is no way to prove any of what they say half the time. Maybe their time would be better spent trying to solve the problems we face here at present on Earth. They know more about the moon than our own oceans.

oh i considered it... and the comparison exposed the problem. but your response is PRECISELY the religious faith in dr. pope phd physics. you expect "believe both" just because they are scientists anything and everything they say must be believed.
my physics partner would lose his career if his name was on the study we did.

answers, my opinions, 1, proof in religion is from books. same as knowing anything from books. the complaint "tangible" proof is a trick, but books are tangible.
2, religion contradiction, most of the critics' contradiction can be interpreted as "adding missing details".
other contradiction was already discussed and interpreted by ancient scholars.
do you refer to certain contradictions which you noticed?
3, yup. one is bound to be right but skepticism warned to reject most. the question really is which method to identify the one.
4, nope, i question religion too and science. i doubt. nowadays no inquisition so we can question.
5 science is SUPPOSED to be inspected and objected. the expectations "don't object to science" is precisely blind faith, and due to the blind "not comprehend" that is precisely blind.

Something has to keep that mass together. And when that something disappears the matter explodes in all directions.

in your version, the mass was held together by a skin that burst. that has 4 obvious problems. 1, if the skin held it until then, then who pricked the skin? or added inflation that changed the state. 2, conversely if that mass would not hold itself together , then it would not start expanding at a certain time, but that is just a logical possibility, that is a problem but truly we observe black holes. 3, the mass causes things to fall so impossible to push away. 4, the "thing" keeping the mass together was the same as black hole, meaning the mass caused but the mass was there not "disappeared".

Sure the example was oversimplified.

So maybe compare it to atoms, in each core the protons and neutrons are bound together by a force so strong it was considered to be unsplittable.

Until nuclear fusion was discovered, once the core is hit with a particle, its enough to overcome the strong bond and the split atom halves are sent fliying away. Which could also trigger an exponational chain reaction.

Which probably isn't still the exact thing that happend at the big bang. But better than thinking of a balloon.
