Why doesn’t Agnostic have anything to do with Atheism?

Atheism is contrasted with theism, which in its most general form is the belief that at least one deity exists.

I guess because atheists dint believe in God while Agnostics accept the possibility of God. Gnosticism seems to be as removed from Christianity as Islam and mormonism with themes from other middle Eastern religions that were are 2000 years ago.

Granted that's what gnosis means in Greek but gnosticism was a form of Christianity that like Arianism and catharsism was declared as heresy and basically wiped out.

but it is related especialy in this generation they usualy attach the faith "i can't know if god is real" like agno, with the belief "god is not real" atheism.
admittedly that is just as baseless as they say the faith in god is.

i'm neither yet people categorize me as a believer or a no god. i just believe in a creator. and i don't want to be categorized to fit a groups belief because i won't.

i'm a long way out of college, but i remember studying biogenesis, spontaneous life and such, and it was very interesting. eventually someone did it. don't remember who. let's call him bob or god, or maybe a dog licked the experiment and the entire thing is bullshit? who knows right?

could we all be in the matrix? i don't think from god to creator is a huge leap. you define god and i don't. you have faith in a belief and i think it's bullshit. there's no scientific basis for god or a creator. religion is for the weak

that's not true. and that defeats the point of AI. AI does write itself. it solves problems. and it learns from them. a programmer might code a program, but the parameters are defined. putting AI into a program allows it to evolve.

I think you’re dramatizing AI. Artificial intelligence can be as little as a calculator to a program that can “talk” to you. But it’s all coded. Calculators aren’t learning new equations. The phrases Gag’s stupid AI poster is pre-generated.
