A belief according to my dictionary is a conviction that certain things are true, therefore agnosticism is a belief system since agnostics are convicted that it’s impossible to know that god exist.

As an ism you are obviously right... but to lazily avoid "burden of proof" they say "we don't claim anything" but they do! God is not fooled. They had their chance.

Because they don't actually take a stance, they think God and Atheism are equally likely. Whether there is or isn't a God they're neither proven right or wrong.
