Well I'm here just to see the answers because I have never read the Bible but there is a thing called the Bible code did scientists have just broke through it has each one of our names in it is written over 3,000 years ago everything you are sitting on everything you are looking at right now is God it has been created by God it is God also our DNA if you break down the DNA code God signed his name to each and every single one of us . If you. Look how we were made I mean perfection.. . Wait a minute I'm out sorry this question wasn't for me LOL. You know the part that really sucks you know if there's an atheist there's atheist who cares I mean they are going to believe in what they want to believe in there most of them are followers but it is what it is and they are who they are and that's all good... But if you look at today's as who we are and if you look back 3004,000 years ago there have been people trying to take our God out of our brains our systems forever because they don't want us to know how powerful we really are and who we truly are but I forgot this question isn't for me so I'll just read the answers sorry I like the question by the way

m +1 yWhich religion, are they all right? If not which one is right as they all say slightly different things.
Then you look at the Abrahamic religions, same God (maybe) but they cannot all be right.
Then they only want to save their own believers, so the same God will only save and give life after death to a specific one of those religions. Then each of those ‘off shoots’ has its own specific off shoots or rather Brands, as that is what it seems to come down to what Brand you worship.
Potentially there are a 1000 people worshipping some ancient bunch of gods, who are the only ones who will be saved, with all other religions being wrong. The only difference between religions and the Xbox - PlayStation, Android - IOS arguments is that the latter two are not responsible for millions of deaths since humans first found something to worship. Religion always has been and always will be the greatest example of Social Engineering, it is there to control the masses. So who is God or is it Gods, if it’s Gods who are they?

+1 yWe are sinners, and God is perfectly Holy and doesn't want any sinners in Heaven. You either have to have someone pay your way, or end up in the Outer Darkness, as God is light and wants no darkness around. God Himself made a way for you to pay the penalty of death for your sins. That was His Son Jesus Christ. In the old days the High Priest sacrificed a lamb that temporarily forgave sins for a year. But Jesus shed His blood once and for all so there was not a need for a high priest. He shed his blood as a blood sacrifice for all and forever. But you have to accept that gift or it does you no good. It is yours for the taking. All you have to do is accept His gift and change your ways (repent). Without repentance there is no forgiveness for sins. The only prayer an unsaved person's prayer is heard is the prayer of asking the Lord to forgive your sins and follow him. Give up all the bad stuff in your life and choose to follow God and not Satan.

@Zenpanda Are you that dense? Who do you think causes these people to be bad? It sure isn't God. And yes, Satan can cause someone to die, but he needs permission from God to kill a Christian. Some Christians God gives Satan permission to kill so that they do not lose their salvation. I forget the verse. But a non-believer, Stan can have his way with them. If they reject God they are fair game for Satan.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?

Why do all these gods never seem able to vanquish evil? Because it's just like the roadrunner and the Coyote, if the coyote catches the roadrunner the fairy tale is over. - +1 y

Wait wait wait. Hold on. If you're Christian Satan needs God permission to kill you but if you're non-Christian you're fair game? Did I get that right?

@Zenpanda You are either pretty dense of a jokester. The unsaved will get to spend an eternity with Satan, in darkness, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.
The outer darkness of judgment is accompanied by “weeping and gnashing of teeth.” The “weeping” describes an inner pain of the heart, mind, and soul. The word in the original denotes a bewailing or lamentation by beating the breast in an expression of immense sorrow. The “gnashing of teeth” describes an outward pain of the body. Taken together, the weeping and gnashing of teeth says hell is a place of indescribable spiritual agony and unending physical pain (see Luke 16:23-28). The outer darkness is a place of anguish, heartache, grief, and unspeakable suffering. Such will be the lot of all who reject Christ (John 3:18, 36).
Are you sure you want to go there? - +1 y
You do realise that that is God's version of free will right. That is the consequence of not worshipping him. Nice God you have there. God is a power hungry asshole.
And even if God is real, you base everything you know about him on a damn book. Tell me something, this is an honest question.
What if you die and come before God and he tells you you're going to hell.
And when you say "why, I followed your word, I lived my life according to the Bible".
And he responds with "that book isn't my word, almost none of that even happened. I am all powerful, why would I use something as easily changed as a book? A book can be changed and influenced, how did you not see that it was deceiving you? It's the most obvious trick satan has ever pulled. About 50% of the things you did in life to follow "my" word is what doomed you to hell. What on my heart made you people believe homosexuality is a sin? So many animals do it, did you think that was a mistake I made over and over? I'm sorry but you can't get into heaven"
What would you say and do? - +1 y

@DrPepper12 God can do anything, and that includes making people who can make their own choices instead of being robots. You make your own stay, either in hell or heaven. You can never tell God how good you have been when you chose what kind of shit to become instead.

What Girls & Guys Said

2.3K opinions shared on Religion & Spirituality topic. Firstly, the “God particle” doesn’t actually have anything to do with god. That is just the nickname given to the Higgs Boson. It is a scalar boson originally theorised in the 1970s by theoretical physicists in order to explain how some particles which should be massless can acquire mass at low energies. So they call it the God particle because it causes otherwise massless energy to gain mass and possibly be a precursor to matter.
Now that we have cleared up that confusion, I will answer the question. Rejecting the premise that god exists on the grounds that there is no reliable or convincing evidence to show god exists doesn’t mean one must be able to give an alternate explanation for existence. God as an explainer for the unknown is not an explanation at all. It is non-explanatory fantasy. God of the gaps.
“Here we have something we don’t know the answer to therefore god” - That is actually a logical fallacy known as the argument from ignorance.
Life after death is merely another unproven fantasy and warrants no explanation.

@b_lova 😂 what do you mean by “energy left in the body”?
If you’re talking about something fantastical like “the soul” or anything, you are not going to get a satisfactory answer from me.
The first law of thermodynamics states that energy cannot be created or destroyed. It simply changes state or form. So any energy left in the body is merely radiated away by thermal radiation and reacts according to the laws of physics with the next environment it encounters. The same as what happens to a fire which is put out or a decomposing log in a forest etc.
Asker+1 yNever said the god particle had anything to do with god... just noticed how in terms of science it's one that doesn't have no real origin.. so if that's the case how is such particles explained in terms of its existence and how it came to be

+1 yEZ athiests have the courage to say "i don't know". We then follow THE OBJECTIVE RATIONAL LOGICAL PEER REVIEWED RESEARCH BY EXPERTS to potential answers like the big bang. Since there's no evidence, as researched and defined above for life after death, one must NECESSARILY conclude that there is not. Life arose either by accident with electricity and complex proteins and amino acids or Just as if not more likely panspermia. Not sure what you're referring to with this god particle but I'm assuming your referencing the angels and demons book.
People of Faith follow the ridiculous traditions that was handed down to them like a demented game of telephone when they are impressionable children and it's all derived from tall tales around a campfire to explain the unexplained by a bunch of preliterate pre urban, semi-nomadic people's. All religion at its core is farcical at best and the preeminent threat to our existence at worst. It's a metastatic cancer. Humanity needs to put away its childish toys and grow up.00 Reply
+1 yOh, for pity's sake- the "God" particle has nothing to do with God. It's a bowdlerization of "god-damned particle", since Higgs could never get the math to work right. Just because "god" is in its name doesn't mean it has anything to do with religion.
The idea of the "Big Bang", too, is based on some seriously outmoded theories, and while they haven't been disproven or anything, is probably incorrect, at least in the details. Unfortunately, scientism has very much become a religion in its own right (look at the Covid response), and Hawking is seen as one of its prophets; his words can be reinterpreted and reconsidered in the light of new evidence, but never questioned outright.
To answer your question more directly, though- they don't. They don't believe in life after death, saying that you die and that's it.
00 ReplyWell how an atheist going to explain life after death if life after death does not exist?

Yes, but LIVE after death does!! UP THE IRONS!!
There is no life after death, so how would I be able to explain what I dont believe?
Also I can't explain the big bang, because we don't know.
But on that same note, explain where God came from. And don't say he always was, because then I can say the big bang just happened because it did.19 Reply- +1 y

The Big Bang is mans explanation for what happened because they don't know shit and that God created all.

+1 yI don't recall The Big Bang nor evolution having any connection with religion. These are science based theories. Although Georges Lemaître a catholic priest and cosmologist created The Big Bang.
Why would I need anything to explain the unexplained even if religion did?

Why does God always need more money then? Is it that he can do everything but balance is checkbook? The ultimate thieves are religious institutions.
597 opinions shared on Religion & Spirituality topic. Religion offers primitive and outdated explanations for the beginning of life and the possibility of life after death. I think we are better off relying on physics and medicine for clarification of these issues.
