The cover, with its serene and uplifting design, perfectly complements the book's theme, inviting readers to open its pages and embark on a path of healing and empowerment.
Even a non-religious person like me can enjoy reading this book.

I don't really have a favourite book but the last one I read was No Longer Human. It's a story of a young man who is caught between the breakup of the traditions of a northern Japanese aristocratic family and the impact of Western ideas. In consequence, he feels himself "disqualified from being human". I read it like 2 months ago and it was pretty good, if you like seeing the darkness in others.
Tho it also left me feeling a little empty inside, but I guess that is because I also struggle with curtain things the same as him lol.

"The Lord of the Rings" trilogy by J. R. R. Tolkien. I like it for the emphasis on friendship, duty, and its proto-Christian worldview. I have read it three times and there is so much detail and backstory, there is always something new to discover. I would highly recommend people who saw the Jackson movie trilogy and liked it to read the books; don't think that because you saw the movies that you know the whole story. While the movies were good, there is so much in the books that could not be packed into the movies.
I forgot to mention that I also like the fact that they used the most unlikely individual to destroy the one ring, someone whose race the rest of the world had never head of-Hobbit. Sauron was expecting a great Wizar or warrior to bring it into Moria to destroy it, not someone "inconsequential."
I could have wrote that!! You are right about EVERYTHING!!
@DrPepper12 Well now I'm flattered.
I'm trying to develop a regular and continuous habit of reading books.
Haven't read a lot yet but so far 'The Secret' by Rhonda Byrne is my favorite.
It's captivating to me because it taps into our desire for control and understanding of the universe. The message of the law of attraction resonated with me and it does with with many, offering a sense of empowerment and hope. Plus, who doesn't love a good mystery?
I was 19 and liked this book to the point I would get horny to the point I'd call guys to see if they wanted to fuck that evening. The book was "The Bridges of Madison County" best love story I ever read. I still have the book.

I like strong female characters, but not strong because they are strong, just because they want to or have no other choice
It's wonderful to hear that you found "Healing the Soul of a Woman" by Joyce Meyer to be such a compelling read! Books like that, with universal themes of personal growth and emotional healing, can resonate with readers from various backgrounds. It's great that you're open to exploring such insightful literature, regardless of religious affiliations.
I now read a ton of books (both hard cover and audiobooks) and id probably say my all time favorite was the Richard Sharpe series by Bernard Cornwell. A set of 23 historical fiction books set following Sir Arthur Wellesley in the Napoleonic Era

I like adventure and it was written by a Frenchman. Not just any Frenchman, a LEGEND! I was reading it in third grade, and when the semester came to an end and the teacher saw that I wasn't gonna finish it, he gifted it to me.

Andy was hilarious. We wonder about the same things.
