Would you fight a battle if you're not sure you could win?

What I thought I could do is write religious books interpreting the sacred scriptures of every religious tradition on earth in an attempt to change the culture of each country and minimize religious corruption.

People will learn the religion promotes love and not hate, peace and not violence, forgiveness and not revenge, patience and not greed.

I just know I might not be able to do this alone, and it might not reap total results in my lifetime due to how big the project is.

Yes. I once read that we should choose battles small enough that we can win, but large enough that they matter. That’s a narrow path to walk, and you’re going to get it wrong sometimes. So i tend to lean toward the bigger side of the equation because we often don’t really know what we’re capable of until we challenge ourselves with something we’ve never done before. There’s also nothing wrong with asking for help. Chances are if it’s very important to you, it’s probably important to others too.

I would avoid fighting as long as it is convenient and i have other options , but when my options are exhausted its not really a choice at that point

If it was a fight like Martin Luther King Jr.’s march for Civil Rights & Equality, Nelson Mandela’s fight to end Apartheid, and Gandhi’s fight to get British influence out of India for good, etc.

Now would I volunteer to join a MMA fight knowing I’d sure as Hell get my ass kicked hard… No.

It depends on the circumstance and what you are willing to put everything on the line such as, storming Omaha Beach to fight off the Nazis endangering not only American freedom, but European freedom too. Our veterans bravely fought against those bastards and the world is better off. Thank you.
