Is virtue signalling universally common in all cultures?

I was watching Jewish YouTube videos and Islamic videos too, and both groups do virtue signalling.

There was one series I saw, where 100% of the people interviewed would tell white lies to upgrade their reputation excluding talk show hosts and their service people who were far more honest than the people on their show.

I don’t know why God gave me this ability but I’m better at reading character than a cop. I think I can identify liars better than a Harvard lawyer.

Nope many cultures actually look down (to the point of disgust) on virtue signaling and will quickly point out that the only reason you are taking a stance is because you don't actually have to back up your stance.
