What is your opinion of people who practice virtue signalling?

The bible says a hard working person should not be punished if they talk about their struggles at work because talking is an essential coping skill for many people who are boxed into unwanted living conditions, but I do not like people who do things and than flaunt it like some kind of Olympic sports medal.

I also do not like people who demand that all attention, energy, and leadership positions be given to them and them alone. Most of us need some level of attention by others, but we should be considerate enough to acknowledge others also need attention, and that hogging the limelight for ourselves and only ourselves is a sin.

I think it's detrimental to what ever your virtue signaling for because the only way to invoke real change wether that is acceptance for something or unacceptance or something that is considered acceptable then I feel like you got to believe in the cause yourself and if you don't it will show and people will see through the bullshit and realise you don't give a shit about the thing that you are virtue signalling.
