Don't say the bible or any other religious book, the bible is just a book written by men. Don't say Jesus, either. Jesus was not the son of a god, he was another man who was a cult leader.
1 yWe have about as much proof for it as the big bang which is starting to look less and less like how the universe started. Physics has big changes coming in the distant future. Hopefully we'll be alive for it.
Randomness or it's more scientific sounding name: chaos is often cited as circumstantial proof. The short explanation being that instead of the world behaving uniformly and predictably, there is randomness which scientists represent as statistical probabilities.
There's also dark matter. As well as anti matter. The more we learn about these things, the more we question our understanding of physics. There's a good chance that these two things are made up of much more than we can comprehend right now.
Some people have accurate visions of the future or other strange abilities which are difficult to explain using science.
Part of it is also most people have only a very elementary understanding of what God is. If you read carefully, the books clearly state that God is a collective. God is everyone and everything meaning if there could ever be discovered an energy, wave or interaction which persists through all matter, that would be a means by which you could try scientifically studying God.
For it to make sense, there's really only a handful of ways it seems it could work. It could be similar to a Higgs field where essentially the plane of its existence separates it's immediate interaction with other parts of reality.
It could be a virtual field meaning it exists as a result of the interactions taking place in the universe.
It's hard to imagine you'd ever be able to get enough data and process it enough to actually prove this though. You would need incredibly high resolution information about particles we can't really detect right now and don't understand enough yet to even be totally sure we'd know what we're looking at when we see them.
Really, both sides are kind of neck and neck right now in terms of how much blind faith it takes to accept either argument.

1 yHere is the answer:
Romans 1:18-25
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.010 Reply- 1 y

Others don't tell me these things, God does.
“The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever” (Isaiah 40:8)."
“Your word, LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens” (Psalm 119:89)."
“I the Lord do not change” (Malachi 3:6)"
“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away” (Matthew 24:35)."
What are you thinking?

Maybeyoutoo It's not his fault. I blame the narcissist money hungry pastors. Thanks to narcissist pastor people felt hopeless and left the church. A pastor condemned me to hell for not donating more then the 10% of my income. I was told I will go to hell for wearing pants. Back in Mouses times men and woman wear tunics. Hard. I couldn't speak in tongues I was told I am demonic possessed. It's no wonder people loose their faith all thanks to money hungry judgmental pastors.

You have the choice to waste your life in service to corrupt men who claim to serve a narcissistic sadistic passive aggressive genocidal sociopathic egotistical sadistic misogynistic bigoted violent conspiracist prick. I'll prey for you...

@DrPepper12 A woman member just asked for her question to be removed because she said you were bothering her. Do you think I should get advice from you?

Yes. And your sky daddy said lying is a sin. Repent to the Flying Spaghetti Monster!!!
1 yTo be honest. I quit church after the pastor wanted to be the main character center of attention. Yelled at me for helping people and he scream at the top of his lungs when I help out a gay men hold the door. It is personal. Me I went on a fasting journey. I dream Jesus. I learn that Christianity has nothing to do with religion Christianity is more of being connected with Jesus. Church just want your money and they make up doctrine rules that don't make since. I have received kindness from non religious people rather then church people. I was judge by church people once I left they forgot that I exist not one single phone call nothing. I quit religion. Religion just controls people. I personally feel it is not my place to judge. Church people are the biggest gossipers and the church members are more interested in being the pastors pet rather being focus on Jesus. I don't think God invented religion. Religion is a men made club let's just say that. I been attacked and judge horrible by Catholics only because I ask questions I was told I must never question the religion. People could be baptized, do e first communion and confirmation be a bible teacher and yet still be ass whole. I was heart broken and felt betrayed when the church turn their backs on me when I needed help. The pastor accused me of being a witch pagan pointed fingers at me. People turn their backs on me. Church pastor's , priest can be the biggest hypocrites bigots.

That's exactly why many people are spiritual but not religious, as organize religion is, in a way, conflicting with itself, for the reasons you described
- 1 y
Now, the priest you met, as you describe, is actually an extremist lol. Throwing witch pagan stuff really is middle age Catholicism lol. Hopefully I've seen normal priests looking nothing like this

@Maybe_Maybe_not I will just go to Starbucks get myself a coffee and recover from all this religious trauma. I'm done with religion. I don't think God will hate me for not attending a building where leaders will only benefit themselves. Money hungry pastor yeah. The pastor bought him self a brand new 2025 dodge. Yeah I thought we were at church to be with God not some human trying to become wealthy.
- 1 y
@Maybe_Maybe_not For the next 30 when I made the choice to live church I just toughth is how people become atheist?
- 1 y
Oh for all I can see, I see more reasons to go out of religion than go in, what I know about the world tells me that. The way to atheism is really personal. Some people enter atheism lands because they have suffered from oppressive turns taken by religion, some people are just being rational about absence of god. Some people are not familiar with religions so they discard theism... Yes, very personal.

Staximus I will and fun things. I quit religion.
There isn't proof, All religion requires faith. Religion was made to try to explain why the universe existed and also after people die.

Tolerated :)
The proof: there is nothing to prove...
if I'm right, then the atheists are fucked - while I (and some others) have fun later on.
If I'm wrong... I'd lose nothing whatsoever.
The ''proof'' of God is nothing that touches the present world. Similar to the proof that wealth gives us a ''better'' life :D
As a side comment: there is not even a need to explain our individual reasons to ''believe'' - or not to. As long as we let others having their own and individual way of spending their lives - as long as we don't molest each other.
Peace :D

m 1 yLet's clear this debate again. Lol. There are no recognized, objective, analysed evidences of any god.
Yet.
But that's not really the point.
People believing don't need rational evidences, they believe because of faith, faith isn't rational, faith don't need evidences to exist inside us. I have faith in mankind, do I have evidences? No, I just have feelings based vaguely on reasons.21 Reply- 1 y
exactly: can't reason someone out of a position they didn't ever "reason" themself into.
What proof do you have that anything exists, outside of what you personally see and experience? The word of man. But you place yourself above theists, despite worshipping a million other sources of information. One day, maybe if you're intelligent enough, you'll have the same realization that you operate identically to theists. Then, mayyyybe, you will embrace skepticism. Atheists are typically my best shot at convincing people to see the light. Agnostic-athiests, at least.

31 Reply 3.8K opinions shared on Religion & Spirituality topic. Your question is moot, as only quantifiable things can have "proof".
You cannot prove tomorrow exists, nor can you prove the dream you had yesterday.
30 Reply2.5K opinions shared on Religion & Spirituality topic. There's no proof. The existence of God is undecidable. No one knows, no one will ever know. Many people claim to know, but they can offer no proof, only words like "Something can't come from nothing. Except God."
10 ReplyNobody can or ever will be able to provide rational evidence for these things. They're stories from the mind. An inevitable byproduct of consciousness.
10 ReplyGod does exists through evidence of His existence surrounds us, from the sense of sight and life we take for granted to the laws of our astonishing world. We have a unity with each other and the universe that can only come from an omnipotent Creator. Introspecting and observing God's bountiful creation is all it takes to find Him and to know that He exists

1 yAlmost every religion - the monotheistic ones at least claim to be based on faith. The question of proof is irrelevant because no faith would be required if there were proof
10 ReplyThere is no scientific method that can proof that God exists or that He does not exist. You have to believe. That is faith, not knowledge.

Still not proof and if you make the claim, it is the obligation of humanity to inquire about that claim so we can progress as a species and do so in confidence that science backs our observations.
