What is your opinion about witchcraft?

My boyfriend's ex girlfriend is a satanist and she used to curse me with witchcraft every Halloween. She also told me she would try to kill me with Witchcraft in September many times. She said she had an entire month of curses lined up for me, along with a blow out curse after it.

Magic is real, but it's unequivocally a satanic power aquired by the tragically misguided. Selling their souls to the devil for petty earthly power all ending in their destruction. With prayer and true faith it doesn't stand a chance however, against Jesus. During the Old Testament you weren't even allowed to spot sorcerers without killing them "18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live." Exodus 22:18. That's how serious a sin it is in God's eyes. Now under the New Testament, under Christ's grace we are of course not called to murder people regardless of who they are, but certainly to be watchful against witchcraft and oppose it wholeheartedly.

I think it's loosely connected to the idea of why do ouija boards work or studies done on prayer. Where people recovering in a hospital who had their family or entire church group praying for them seemed to recover at a statistically higher rate than could be explained. There's something going on there we don't understand. Is it possible its actually us making these things work, not some outside force?

By the way this ex girlfriend sounds like she needs a fist in the face, or her tires slashed. Maybe some real world, physical consequence in response to all of her imaginary threats. See how she deals with that. People like that need a heavy dose of confrontation.

If I placed a whole bunch of curses on someone and then they got arrested for assault or vandalism against me, I would take that as evidence that my curses worked. So I'm not sure your advice would "teach" the ex anything.

When you have someone like that, I don't believe in witchcraft because I have strong religion beliefs in the Lord Jesus Christ and also pray about things to keep that stuff away from you and your loved ones some people are shady characters for sure.

Witchcraft is Wicca. Which isn’t meant to be used for harm although some choose to use it harmfully as opposed to actually helping themselves and others.


And if she’s a satanist she’s clearly perverting it considering causing harm to others is against their way. Wicans are striving to be in tune with nature. I have known a few in Massachusetts. Correct me if I am wrong but I think the practice originated with the Druids. Many are good Christians. Wicans saw an increase in their number when the divorce rate went up due to the idea that that could cast spells on the ex.(revenge). When a wican crosses over to the dark side they become Warlocks and it does not rely on ones sex. There can be male and female warlocks. I knew a pastor who ministered in a Methodist church located in Salem, Mass who said his congregation was about 30 percent wicans his take on the situation was that they had to let the hatred go and get back on the road to living.
