Why were the Angels sent to sodom in the Bible story so weak?

So to summarize, in Christian mythology, Yahweh (the heavenly father) sent two Angels to investigate Sodom & escort the righteous away. Lot hosts the Angels but the citizenry hates them and they surround his house, demanding the Angels be given up so they can be raped.

Lot offers up his two daughters to be raped in the Angel's stead.. for what?

ALL of humanity cannot defeat him.

Angels are essentially demigods who could pick up a regular sword and cleave a piece of reality in half right in front of you, where you could pass through that wound into another universe if they so willed. They could blind their attackers permanently by showing their true form, they could individually blast the attackers with Divine evocation magic, they could overpower the attackers physically without even trying, they could fly up in the sky away, they could warp reality to make it impossible to even approach the Angels, they could use Divine magic to produce mental compulsion effects, etc. Angels have NOTHING to fear from humanity, even if we managed to harness black holes and supernovas we could not defeat Angels.

So why is Lot so keen on protecting them? Why did Yahweh have such an emotional reaction when he already knows what the future is going to be anyway? Everything turns out exactly how he wants because he is all-powerful and all-knowing.

These Bible stories just straight up don't make sense unless you think of the Angels as pitiful creatures that could be overwhelmed by a group of humans.

The Bible story characters are so pathetic, I could make a Dungeons & Dragons FIRST level Wizard that is stronger than these Angels in Sodom. Nevermind a 20th level Wizard who could warp reality with literal Wishes.

They weren't. They could have easily destroyed the city but were charged with getting Lot and his family out.

In Ancient Near Eastern culture, from which Lot came, the host was responsible for the safety of his guests, up to an including giving his own life. The perves were not interested in the offered daughters, and the angels would have stricken them earlier had they tried as Lot and his family were actually under their protection.

I know what I know because God allowed me to witness. I've said this before. I can't show you what I saw. I can't give you the proof you want, but if God gave it to you, are you certain you wouldn't write it off as a hallucination? Or perhaps aliens hoovering above you?
If you witnessed what I've witnessed, I promise you wouldn't be atheist. Or perhaps it would have driven you to insanity. I don't know why God did this, but I never doubted his existence. I've never heard of people out there having witnessed Devine intervention to the degree that I have. My life has certainly not been blessed with love, money, or a great career. I've broken about 15 or 16 bones and been shot twice. I grew up in hell. So I don't know, but God is real, and so is his Son Jesus Christ. As is the Holy Spirit.

Yeah, I tend to get angry when people try to convince me of what I know to be. I don't go about trying to convince atheist that God is. Respect is all that's needed. Unless my believing bothers you somehow.
