The Old Testament era was a theocracy, therefore, both moral and civil requirements were contracted by Israelite who agreed to be His people and adhere to Contract terms.-10 Commandments being the foundational requirement. The same “death” applies in NT, however, it is a spiritual hellfire separation from your Creator, God.
Bible does address Sexual Sin. God did not have to warn you. And given He did then consider it an act of Love.
-Firstly, Genesis 1:27: made in His image and created Male and Female.
-Romans 1:25-28 addresses lesbians.
-Deuteronomy 23:1 addresses Trans.
And, those who cause His to stumble (public school system, media, Hollywood) would have been better off never being born. Those who cause His to stumble will suffer a painful eternal separation from God.
I guess because a lesbian can have all the pussy fun she may want with other women and still both satisfy her husband and bear his children. Whereas a man's orgasm is seen as valuable.
There's different treatment for women who lie with a man who is not her husband than for men.
Like most of the laws in the bible they are set in there for practical purposes related to the time ie the act of sodomy is a very unsanitary act that in times before vaccination and antibiotics can make you ill.
Women cheating or having sex before marriage is not tolerated because sex b4 contraception lead to pregnancy and it was b4 paternity testing so you wouldn't know who the father of a child is. The husband would not raise a child that isn't his or an unmarried pregnant woman or adulterous woman wouldn't have a man to support her.
Seems to me these two laws are about increasing procreation

The law probably still applied to lesbians as well. A lot of Christians think lesbians got off the hook just because the OT didn't really talk about it, but Paul said in Romans 1:26 "For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature."
Homosexuality has been with us since time immemorial. Jesus, (because you were putting this into the New Testament since Christians didn't exist in the Old Testament, never mentioned homosexuality in any of his dissertations. If there is any reference in the NT to homosexuality, it didn't come from Jesus.
I think it was assumed it would apply to women as well, but it is important to note that the requirement to kill people for those sort of things might never have been something people were supposed to take literally. In other parts of the Bible people get off with warnings or lighter punishments for things like eating blood or working on the Sabbath which in theory were capital crimes.
You would be better off asking this question in a different website or looking it up. I know there are many fine preachers that have discussed this topic.
Because the men who wrote the Old Testament were a bunch of pervs who thought that lesbian sex was really hot. They got off on it. Two men kissing? Nah!
