Do you believe there are limits to how much you can change others?

I have tried to get along with my parents and nothing I did was ever good enough.

The bible says, if not even God can get along with evil people, how much less could imperfect people tolerate and change evil people.

Some people cannot be reconciled, no matter what you do, because not even God is able or willing to override their choices.

You must have heard that don't just say, show by doing.
Or this, the one who understands on his own is a wise person, the one who understands by listening is a smart person and the one who doesn't understand even after listening is a person.
You can calmly tell people from the side that this path is better, the rest is up to them to believe or not.
Suppose someone listened to you and suffered a loss, then he/she will blame you.
And you can not be right all the time according to the place, person or time.
Focus on yourself and leave them be

Yes, the limit is zero. Where others may influence how or why you change, the only person that can change you... is you.

People will always resist attempts to change them and the harder you push the harder they'll push back. It is better to lead by quiet example and let the fruits of your own behavior be the lesson.

Depends on a person, but a naturally good person will always lean towards the good.
