You're confused, ANY justification can be used to hate a group. Doesn't matter if it's religion, science, class, opinion, or facts. There is no red line for what may or may not be used to support a negative view.
All that matters is that they do not use violence, or go beyond the law.
You still have people hating Muslims, Blacks and Jews on all sorts of pretentions. What makes gays so special that they must be "protected" no matter what?
That's the whole point of religion - to justify the unjustifiable.
I also always wonder why some people who support LGBT always think that people who don’t support are religious.
Some people don’t support, but i doesn’t mean they hate. They just don’t care.
Religion has been persecuting people from the very start.
