God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac and right when he was about to do it, he found a Ram caught by its horns and God tells Abraham to sacrifice the Ram instead of his son.

Then came the saying, that God provides on the mountain of the Lord.

It was just like when I considered working as a paid religious minister, and then I came up with another idea that paid the same amount.

Or when a guy I used to like wanted to date me years later, but this was a week after I found a boyfriend.

It’s like God protects you from making bad choices by providing you with good alternatives at the time you consider making those choices.

I see some gap among the examples provided, sacrificing the ram seems like a whole different scenario but yes, I see that other people end up doing unexpected things that end up being tremendously helpful without intending to.

Yes, the principle of mountain is a symbol of an obstacle, and if you can climb that mountain, you can achieve your goals.
