You mean John and Elijah? It's actually one person in the spirit of 2 people (two witnesses). They're murdered before the Great Beast wages war on the remainder of God's chosen people, but they're resurrected and raptured after 3 1/2 days later from the time of their death. The remainder must go through 1289+ days of persecution before they're raptured also. This shall take place somewhere from 2046-2053.

Tell me, how do you come by this? When the Lord has an angel speak, the words all in Christ are raptured. John and Elijah, you believe are the two witnesses. That's interesting. Most say Enoch and Elijah since they were not dead when they were taken to heaven.

John prophecies 1260 days, then dies. It states he's resurrected after 3 1/2 days, and the scripture also states that he shall come BEFORE the great and dreadful day of the LORD (this has multiple interpretations; speaking not only of Jesus, but the Antichrist as well). Which means that he prophecies to the world before the Antichrist makes war. The bible also states that there shall be 1290 days after the abomination of desolation (mark of the beast) is set up inside the temple of God (that being the human body). This is where I'm led to believe that another rapture for God's chosen shall take place, because those 1290 days will be persecution days.

The role of the two witnesses is to restore faith in the world, and prepare the chosen ones for 1290 days of persecution. So the two witnesses will be resurrected before anyone else.

The two witnesses will continue for 42 months. The trib is 42 months. The Bible speaks of the saints being called in the same manner as the witnesses, so this leads me to believe that it is the same occurrence. The witnesses show up right after the desolation. Persecution is begun at this time as well.

Imagine the anti markers bringing seized to the tune of so many millions and locked up. It takes a long time to behead that number of people. And most Christians believe they will be raptured before this begins.
