What makes a person human and what does it mean to live properly?

In my opinion, what makes a person human is keeping his brain as active as possible and constantly processing information. Living is not about wandering around, but about using your potential to the fullest. Man's main purpose in life is to learn as much as possible. So when I think of living, what comes to my mind is working at my desk for hours. What do you think about these issues? What do you think living is?

That is nonsense from both sides.

The idea of "human" is the name for the species "homo sapien" already defined.

2, term "properly" needs religion to guide a group , to prevent chaos due to various opinions of "proper" behavior.

It is "proper" not to be rude nor racist but it is "proper" to shout at racists? Rudely!

3, your "keeping brain as active" is nonsense from both sides. All animals hav* active brains. Not just "humans" . Also the other direction: when we sleep brain is active! Not something we do to "keep it active".

4, "constantly processing information" is bad wording for study, but seeing anything during day is already "constantly processing information" which again is not "human" because cats see therefore "constantly processing information".

5, to learn, but who said to learn "much"? Either way if yes, can't have fun if that violated the purpose , to learn as much as possible, unless not the purpose then you are wrong either way.

7, living is "wandering around" that is how animals are alive until they STOP "wandering around" either way your ideas are nonsense from both sides. And

Also demonstrate lack of preparation , and even desperation to replace something with something worse.

Living is love and grief and all of the emotions associated with it. They’re 2 sides of the same coin, love is the burden we happily take and grief is the price we pay when we lose it. Living is about finding people and things to love, letting that joy fill you and give you a sense of purpose you might not have otherwise and it makes you that much more loved in return.


I’m gonna be honest, your idea of living is very… let’s call it “practical” and it was adopted by the generation known as the Baby Boomers a while ago. I’ve never met a more miserable people, living their lives for their jobs, their marriages suffering, their relationships with their children suffering because the job took priority, passion does not exist within these people, only the desire to work a job and make money because that’s all they have. In that regard, I imagine you’ll think my idea is frivolous and stupid, which is fine.
