I swear this isn't a "I'm 14 and this is deep" sort of question, I'm just genuinely curious what is the answer. We are human, but is there anything beside our species, that makes us human? are some humans more humans than others? is it because they're more moral, more aware than others are?
The psyche of the human is the most dangerous and that's what it makes us, that's how we act and think. It can be anything. It is because we've been developed for surviving.
If we compare ourselves to animals, we can tell that we are smart enough to use few of them so they can help us. Horses, yak, Donkeys etc.
Being stupid > Regardless how intelligent you, or we, are... you are still NOT IMMUNE to silly mistakes. They are just like us. Living their life... doing stupid stuff, having fun. It doesn't mean you're a human robot that reads, studies, no emotions 24/7. Lmao.
To conclude, what does that mean? We are disgusting and can be very dangerous and threatening to others (also to animals). The most fascinating, intelligent, stupid, funny, whatever there is I can count...-being ever.

My concept is ever-developing, but the basic idea I've accepted to work with since I was 14 was that what makes us human is the ability to perceive and belief that which did not, does not, or cannot exist. It helps us when we think of things like flying machines, space shuttles, and medicines that used to not exist and were "impossible" or "witchcraft" at one time. It can be either good or bad when we imagine beings to worship. It hurts us when we have delusions about reality. No other living thing does this, so it's what makes us human. The least human/most inhuman people those without this ability to imagine the currently nonexistent or who are consumed by delusion. The most human are those with incredible imaginations that pursue the impossible but never sacrifice the real in that pursuit.
This feels like the sort of question a robot would ask in order to better pretend to be a human 🤔
Biology-wise, since it's scientifically proven that animals can too build societies and be sentient, the only real difference between humans and animals is that we have an articulate speech. Mentally, logic, intelligence, creativity. The ability to believe in an invisible idea, concept the development of proof, and then create the tools necessary to define the existence of said concept.
Its our minds in my opinion. If you strip parts of us away, at what point do we cease being human?
If you get skinned alive, are you human? What about your muscles? Your bones? Most of the answers I get, ultimately end up being the mind or our consciousness.

stupidity...
besides having reason and had it developed to this point
we can still get stupid AF... that's a special kind of stubbornness lmao
no one else has that duality, so smart yet... so idiotic, and by choice too, at many timesOn Animal Farm, all animals are equal, of course, but the communist party members were 'more equal' than the other animals and thus entitled to special privileges and resoures. Tell me, is that still taught in schools?
Self awareness. This is what separates us from the animal kingdom. We are the apex species because don't just react just through instinct. We think, we calculate, we plot, we invent, we make war. We are capable of such amazing feats, and such horrible atrocities.
Human is supreme on the earth 🌎🌍 because it has developed brain 🧠 and thinking 🤔 power more than others species. Let's see the history and till date human made uncountable changes in their life 🧬 style but other species like birds 🐦🕊️ animal and sea ⛵ creatures are living in their initial stages till date. So there is no more human.
The ability to have feelings. To choose to do good. The ability to choose to invent things that make it better. We aren’t really limited.
We are machine animal elves. We are also all knowing. Especially our past, with absolute certainty that you are a speck of evolved dust.
Conceptualize and plan and control impulses and forgive.
I think the fact that we can't just eat abuncha raw meat without getting sick eventually like other animals are able to do haha
Supposedly humans are the only animals that are aware of their own mortality. We know we will die someday. This gives us lots to think about I guess.
What measure is a non-human? trope, you can say that psychopaths are monster-like.
I mean I don’t think you can separate humans like that. Like human is still human.
How we can be so smart, yet so stupid at the same time
Our thoughts aren't binary.

We're the only species to have a chin.
