Muslim = Hell fucking no gross.
Jewish = Ok if we click but I wouldn't convert
Mormon = Absolutely not I think they're nuts
Jehovah witness = Make me want to use castle doctrine when they show up on my doorstep without warning or permission.
Buddhist = Sure definitely, I'm not Buddhist but I vibe with the ideology.
Hindu = Don't know a ton about it but based on what I do know I'd probably be ok with it.
Scientologist = Dating is already too expensive to get scammed at the same time too.
Mormons believe native Americans are decedents of a tribe from Israel that was exiled from Jerusalem for killing their own and "God turned their skin red" as a punishment. They claim that America is the actual holy land, and Jesus came here after his revival. Oh, and did I mention the solid gold plates the founder found that legitimized his religion yet always had a reason he couldn't show them to anyone? They're also pro polygamy in most cases and the deeper you look into its history the more you realize it's just a cult that got too big to stomp out.
As for Islam it's outright evil. I've had it with these dumb kids on campus protesting on behalf of those savages. If they did the same thing in an Islamic country instead of here, they'd be gunned down in the street or stoned to death.
Under Islam woman have no autonomy over their body, they cannot say no to their husband, or he can legally punish them. They aren't allowed to leave their house without a male escort, and they have to cover their entire body in public because according to their religion woman are inherently sinful. Marital rape isn't even a concept it's your husbands right. You know who else lived in conditions like these? Black American plantation slave and yet for some reason these people think they deserve pity.
Woman in Muslim countries almost never report rape because in their system if they decide in court that "You tempted him into doing it because rapists are totally great fucking guys, and the woman clearly brought this on herself." (Bullshit) then you both get stoned to death because they call it adultery since you āTempted himā.
@AmeerX Homosexuality is punished by getting beheaded in public with combat knives I've seen it with my own eyes. They use child soldiers in war and their own families as human shield to hide from our troops and they build military bases and store weapons in hospitals and apartment complexes. They withhold the medical and food aid we bring them seizing it for themselves and then rationing the scraps to the people to keep control.
Rape is a part of their war philosophy by design just like the Russians Torture and murder too. Do you know what's going on in Afghanistan? They're banning woman from speaking in public and they've removed woman from the workforce so much they can't even legally be nurses or midwives anymore.
Further after the pull out of Afghanistan after we gave those Taliban animals what they wanted they double crossed us and broke the agreement, so we weren't able to get the interpreters we promised citizenship out. Now the Taliban hunt them going door to door and when they find him, they kill him, they kill his wife or wives, and they kill his children and fucking pets if he has them. They wipe out the entire fucking bloodline.
My father-in-law was a 9/11 first responder, I remember 9/11 very clearly and I promise you to have their country bombed back into the stone age was more mercy than they deserved. Now Iran is trying to make nukes! The last thing I want is a nationwide cult obsessed with martyrdom to have weapons capable of ending the entire world.
@AmeerX You can tell me all you want that Islam is a "Peaceful Religion" but it's not, it's a violent murderous cult spanning multiple nations and a threat to global secret. Hitler said he was making a socialist Utopia and Communism was supposed to create an equal classless society but that's not what we got is it? We got genocide, terror, murder, poverty starvation, violence, death and more human rights violations than can be counted.
This mess the terrorists have created includes their own people because terror is how they keep the parts of the population that want them gone in line. Islam is evil and if it were up to me we'd deport every single Muslim in the nation that didn't convert to something else or just choose not to practice the religion. If they insist on remaining loyal to the cult kick them out.
Also before you bring up Trump and his immigrant policy I voted for Kammila because I'm smart enough to know that a literal chimpanzee is more fit for office than that disgusting, fascist, evil, greedy, selfish, rapist! I'm also not against Immigration I'm against Illegal immigration because too many of them breaks the economy and they are often forced into crime because a lack of job opportunities due to their illegal status.
I'm well aware part of why food in this country is cheaper is because Illegals do most of the harvesting but honestly they're being exploited anyways. They deserve basic human decency they aren't getting because they're a serf class with no rights a phone call away from losing everything. I sympathies with them but there is only so many refugees and illegals a country can afford. Look at what's happening to California and New York right now case and point.
@cormac995, I have read you comments, all are hateful, you write maximum against Islam, unfortunately you don't have knowledge about Islam , you only refer to Muslims , who don't follow real Islam, you must have sufficient knowledge of any thing before commenting , as you hate Muslims same way Muslims also hate 10 times than you , I am Muslim and hate you , you ate bloody shit person, I have more than 200 points against Christianity but I will not discuss with you , as you are bloody ignorent person.
As for Afghanistan, Talban Kicked out America with it's allies , these So called Super power, was shamefully defeated by unarmed , illiterate Shepherds, brave soliders left there shoes in hurry to save their lives ,
Now Talban rulling a sovereign country , they have their own system, they never allow any one to interfere , even America backed UN and Human Rights watch ,
I avoid religious and political discussions here and but I forced to comment
@Cheerfull009 You say that like the opinion of a cultist matters to me. I choose to believe what I've seen with my own eyes, and I've seen beheadings, terrorism murder and slavery. Also, the term Musim doesn't automatically refer to an ethnic group. It can be used that way but it's also just a word that can convey they're a follower of Islam it depends on the context used and that is how I was using it.
If these fuckers in the middle east would leave us alone, I'd say fine have your little cult, but this crap has been going on since before the gods damned crusades! That's why they freaking happened! When I can scrub the memory of watching a man die from having his head sawed off with a combat knife because he was gay and I can get the image out of my head of people jumping to their deaths during 9/11 because the alternative was to burn to death alive and my father in law and my mother don't have to live in constant fear of him dying from lung cancer maybe then we can talk about Islam being a "good thing". Unfortunately, I have a long memory if I could scrape the things I've seen that cult do from my head trust me I would.
Also, I'm not Christian either and they piss me off too and the repetitive behavior of the catholic church is disgusting but as much crap as I give Christians at least they don't act like a savage army of raiders from the Middle Ages lashing out at the entire world plundering, murdering, enslaving and raping and calling it gods will.
@Cheerfull009 I'm also not even 100% on board with the war Isreal is waging Netanyahu is a dictator using the war to save his ass primarily and the amount of human suffering happening is terrible. There are people in their military and government I fully agree are guilty of war crimes including Netanyahu and should face a court of law but at a certain point if you kick a beehive enough times you don't get to complain when you get stung. Isreal has a right to defend itself from terrorism and the October 7th was a day of blood, rape and savagery of course they want to wipe out Hamas and Hezbollah.
Further as I said above these fuckers doing this crap causes a shit ton of damage on purpose. Even if Isreal did every single thing in their power to minimize civilian casualties, there would still be massive numbers of them because they use the citizens as human shields even their own kin! What is Isreal supposed to do when Hamas is firing RPGs at them from hospital window? Just not shoot back and let themselves be killed?
Further a huge amount of the damage in Gaza wasn't even on purpose I'm not saying some of it wasn't some of it definitely was, but Gaza is so tightly packed a sudden gust of wind could blow an artillery shell off course and it hits something completely different then they meant to.
@Nik1hil I know my policy is I engage once to give a full response then ignore them from then on. Except this one guy who was so brainwashed with Russian propaganda he was more Russian than most Russians. Unfortunately for him I've been following the war every day since day 1 and as a result I know a shit ton about it.
I basically spent 20 paragraphs ripping him a new asshole with actual facts and he cracked lost it and basically start rebutting everything I said with "nuh uh" and being snarky. He would make hypocritical arguments and when I pointed out the double standard he didn't mention it in his reply. It was just too easy and too satisfying you could tell the dude was losing his mind and his blood pressure was going up and I couldn't help myself that time. XD
He refused to provide any sources yet hounded me and called me un credible since I hadn't shown them, so I showed them, and he dismissed them outright. I'm not even kidding when I say some of the stuff out of his mouth was word for word from Russia state TV.
Remember that All religions contain bits of unbelievable happenings. Constantine see a Cross in the clouds and is suddenly a believer. Moses and a burning bush.
@cormac995, I do want to waste my time for such meaning less discussion, I have written enough but if you think , but I may tell you that ISLAM IS STILL 2nd biggest religion, being followed in the world, and it is progressing, keep on my you cannot diminish it
@AMS700CX4u2 not too unbelievable. Constantine wasn't yet a Christian and facing battle had a vision of a cross in the ski and in a dream was told to paint the chi ro on his Army's sheilds and by this symbol conquer. He won the battle against all odds and Christianity became the dominant religion in the Roman Empire and later Europe. Basically the religion of the Hebrews, the man Rome had crucified had conquered their conquerers. If you look closely in any Catholic or orthodox church anywhere you will see the Chi Ro an ancient symbol of the first Christians.

One of a million nice things about Jews compared to Muslims is that they don't behead you or detonate a bomb in the room if you don't want to convert.
"Homosexuality is punished by getting beheaded in public with combat knives"
Or throwing them off of buildings.
"My father-in-law was a 9/11 first responder, I remember 9/11 very clearly and I promise you to have their country bombed back into the stone age was more mercy than they deserved."
I lived through 9/11 in Manhattan working in my office building that day and seeing the planes hit the buildings. We must NEVER forget!
@RingOfFire True in my original Opinion I made it Clear all Religions are Originated from God Except Islam..
Which is Why All Religions Prohibit Acts of Pedophilia, Incest Marriages etc..
Islam Promotes Pedophilia and Incest Marriage has Created a Cesspool of Genetic Defect in Islamic Countries!..
Their Society is Crumbling from Inside which is why they are Invading Europe to Convert People , spread Religions and find Suitable partners which Who they won't Have Genetic defected Kids.. for next Few Generation!.. but again they will make their Kids Incest marry and Europe will face same issue!..
It is your opinion, your enemies never care
(FYI: J. Wits are technically also Christian)
So real talk... I did marry someone who was Christian but not "my level" Christian. (He was non-practicing... and then questioning... and then just a plain old bump on a log.) The result was a spiritual mess till we split. It wasn't a good way to run a home/family.
Ok... having said that... I do see interfaith marriages regularly now and while it's a little quirky, so long as both parties are passionate about their faith and instill respect for both faiths in their children, things tend to work out just fine.
It's when one overshadows the other at home... and family members start talking smack about one or more religious... that things become dysfunctional both spiritually and emotionally.
JWs don't believe that Jesus is God.. They believe that he's an Angel of some sort.. So really they're not even technically Christian..
I dunno, if they're both different religions and very passionate about them I'd imagine it would cause conflict down the line somewhere. Even different Christian denominations.
I said no on the voting because Iām a black woman that come from Africa, back in the days of my ancestors, we donāt know what is Christian or jesus, we only believe in the gods that protect us and we marry who ever our feelings goes to, religious is not marriage, I believe that so much
You know Christianity was in africa b4 Europe. In fact the kingdom of Askum in Somalia had a very powerful Christian kingdom and neighbouring African Jewish kingdom
Even a Blaine? (Handsome white boy?)
I would prefer atheist or agnostic, or some form of nature worship, pantheism, or animism. I am generally turned off by "religions", including Christianity.
I would get along fine with someone who was religious but not devoutly so.
What other people believe doesn't bother me. But in a partner, I prefer someone who is uncertain and questioning but open minded; possibly seeking a spiritual path that suits them.
I am filled with awe, appreciation and wonder for all of creation. That's good enough for me. I don't care about creation myths, gods, or claims about life after death because it is obvious that they are all illusory.
Opinion
53Opinion
I will keep this short..
All religions are acceptable Except for Muslim/Islamic both Shiya and Sunni.
I am born Hindu, now Agnostic and will be prefer less religious partner, who has Morality not dependent on religion.
I have studied holy Texts. All Religions ( Except Islam) foundation was Done by God, depending on Location and needs of that society. That is Why all religions of God can Live and Integrate Peaceful among each other.
All religions of God worship Light and Fire - as candle or Oil Lamps.
Origin of Islam was Done as Planned revenge Against GOD, By "Mahabali" the Demon King of Underworld because he was Unfairly Sent into UnderWorld.
Sadly eventually whole world will be Converted to Islam, only a Handful of Non - Islamic People will be left, at the time of Arrival of God.
Why would you consider Mormonism non-Christian Their interpretation is certainly not the Catholic interpetation. He is certainly the Savior. But by dying on Calvary;s cross they believe He paid for the sin of all Mankind in one Fell swoop, whether you want it or not. They believe that all have eternal life, it is up to you as to where you spend it. Here on earth Terrestrial, Among the planets, Terrestrial, or within God's kingdom, Celestrial. Different but wrong, who can say.
Right no one can literally be this stupid. Gotta be trolling
Mormons believe that when they die that they will become God's themselves like Jesus and rule over their own planets begetting spirit children through endless celestial sex. Does that sound like Christianity?
The above is true if you achieve the status of Elder and are married in the Temple and Keep the Doctrine and Covenants. Not everyone reaches the Celestrial Kingdom. My wife and I were Mormon for 6 years and it did not workout for us. We are drop outs and follow a more conventional form of Christianity. But I am afraid I have done more than the Sunday school depth of reading. Seems like whenever my Friends wanted to investigate a new faith, they wanted me to go with them. So I have heard many Christian opinions. But it is Faith. Nothing provable. All of them valid in their own rights.
I cannot, even if I wanted to. Do not get me wrong, there are women of other faiths that I tend to be very attracted to because they have some values that are similar to mine and their mannerisms are more attractive, plus I genuinely tend to mingle with them a lot better and easier than American women and especially American Christian women, who are often some of the phoniest.
But my faith warns me not to marry those of a different faith. And also because it can cause friction in a relationship, even more if you go on to have kids. It works out just fine for people who both are not serious about their faiths, but will not when both are.
@ManOnFire
I am an American Christian woman so we are not all like that!
I'm an athiest, and I wouldn't have a problem marrying any of them, so long as they respected my lack of belief, and their religion wasn't their entire personality..
I'd support their choice to maintain their religion, but if they try to convert me, then that's a deal breaker for me.
I've dated religious people in the past, and it was never an issue, because even though they believed and had faith, it didn't overtly impact our lives.
Are you sure it didn't overtly impact your lives if you aren't together?
Atheist, yes. Christian, most Orthodox except for Old Belivers. Muslim, maybe a Turkish girl if she wasn't super devout/practicing. MAYBE a Lutherin or Anglican.
The rest, no way.
It's hilarious that you don't consider Mormons and Jahovah's Witnesses, Christians. 😂
Have you ever looked into what they believe?
https://youtu.be/n3BqLZ8UoZk?si=a4qLihkLcGjbaMyA
I'm familiar. The fact that even Protestants don't want to claim them should tell you everything you need to knowš
I don't even like when Catholics are clumped in with Christians, 'cuz I don't want to be associated with those crazy Protestants or Jahovah's Witnesses
Or God forbid, Christian scientists! Now THERE'S a whackjob religion
@gwendoline
That video is perfect to explain Mormonism. They're closer to New Age/Gnosticism than Christianity.
@SixFootSexy closer to scientology you mean
Maybe just an atheist but other religion would be tricky. Because if I remain a Christian and they remain their own religion, It's going to conflict the children. Unless they plan to convert. Atheists, if they just don't judge have nothing to teach the children so it's not going to be so hard to convert them to Christians. But of course I can't force them.
Pretty good. Hebrews do not believe in hell, The word they use is Shiol (an Existence without God) but certainly not Fire and Brimstone. The Hell that is reference in The New Testament, is something the Romans stole from the Greeks. Hades
Before, I would have married anyone outside of Catholicism. Now, I'm not so sure. I think certain beliefs will clash, no matter how much effort you put in. Not so much because of the two people involved, but because of direct family members and the community at large.
People who belong to a faith and are quite passionate will find it hard to compromise in a relationship with a family. If so and the parents did not want to change for one another, the children would be in a difficult position. I think if you are passionate about your religion and want to incorporate it into your life and family, you should marry your own. At the end of the day when you fall in love, love doesn't choose colour, race, religion, ethnicity or age. With many people, opposites attract... Well, I guess it's all in the mind... Wanting something you understand you shouldn't have.
I think I be the most concerned about the "Christian" member in relationships. Most of the other faiths mentioned are either independent of a belief or they are a barely changed message from the other faiths mentioned. If the path is solid, it will lead to mountaintop, regardless of who gives directions.
Historically and currently they seem to be the least hospitable, most dogmatic of the collective means of explaining our universe and our relation to it
It just wouldn't work out. I'm not insanely religious, but if me and my partner don't believe or agree on what our core beliefs are about what is moral and what is not. And where we go after we die, I can just see us having a lot of issues when we want to raise kids one day.
If any woman is crazy enough to marry me, I would hope that she's non-religious. Religion is for idiots.
I will pray 4 you
I wouldn't marry a practicing Catholic who donates OUR money to the pedophile defense fund.
Nice to see Catholics like yourself are still "welcoming the stranger" and "treating the least of your brothers" well.
Christianity as practiced by some is a repudiation of everything JC taught. It's sad actually...
Pedophile defence fund? You mean the American Federation of Teachers?
https://youtu.be/2i742Y9By_Y?si=Gf6L8Bmywhnnymqr
No. The Holy See š
Yet every single week there's a report on some pedophile teacher. Makes a gal wonder what kind of person becomes a teacher.
https://youtu.be/pstZ6Z9LfSg?si=walomvKUm22F52Gb
One more time without whataboutism!! Bet you can't!!
How about Mr Pot you stop calling the kettle black.
Whataboutismis a phrase that means nothing outside of the US. It's usually used by those who are making a ln argument about morality yet haven't a moral leg to stand on.
It was first coined in the cold war when America was criticising the Soviet Union on civil rights in the Eastern block the Soviet Union started questioning America lynching African Americans and the lack of civil rights for African Americans the Americans came up with the term of whataboutism instead of addressing Soviet criticism thinking they had won some great propaganda victory over the Soviet Union but in reality the rest of the world though wow "they are lynching black people?" And " they call themselves the leader of the free world yet there is no freedom in America if you are black".
Well as an atheist I do not hold anyone's beliefs against them. But we would talk about it for sure. If for no other reason than I want to understand my partner and how they think.
I'd stay close to my belief system. Get too far out and don't want the conflicts that arise and complexity.
Out of all those you mention I would marry am atheist because my father was an atheist and I wouldn't have problems with that at all.
Jew, Hindu and Buddhist. They don't believe against my faith or intentionally corrupt it.
It's never wise to be unequally yoked, especially if both parties are serious about their faiths.. Even worse if you have kids..
My faith in Jesus is way too important to me. I must marry someone that is of my same faith.
I wish I didn't have a sex drive then I would feel more holy.
No. Anyone who proves themself "brainwashable" does not mesh well with me. I don't mind bland spiritual beliefs, but impassioned is a turn off and they always, always, always end up hit-the-fan crazy.
So funny Mormons and Jehovah's witnesses are not considered christian. And the answer is no.
Do you know what Mormons and jehovah's believe?
Mormons for instance believe that when they die they will become God's ruling over their own planet and having spirit children through endless celestial sex.
I wasn't disagreeing, just thought it was funny since most people don't know or agree.
Like I said in the previous post , my wife and I are not practicing Mormons, But one thing they taught gave definition to an afterlife. Most Christians don't have any idea of what the Afterlife is going to hold for them. It is like we show up for a never ending Dinner with Friends and Family. Nothiingis ever said about after the Dinner and clean up. The Morning after. Mormonism on the other explains what inhabitants of the Celestial Kindom will be doing. Go back to Genesis. God never said He was against Nudity or Sex Before you can define immorality you must define morality.
If they expected me to convert no. If they offered to convert, first convert.
Atheist, buddist, yes
all others, nope
If I were single, no. I would not. I would marry another traditional Catholic.
I'm an atheist and I wouldn't marry any of the others except perhaps a Jew.
Mormons are not non-Christians. And yes, I would and I did. I'm agnostic.
Islam is closer to Christianity than Mormonism.
Your ignorance of Mormonism is not surprising given all the misinformation out there about it. I won't be too judgmental of you because I used to believe the same things you do. But I would encourage you to educate yourself because you could not be more wrong.
Muslims don't believe there were Jews in America and that jesus travelled there with some Jews. They don't believe in multiple God's, they don't believe they will become God's when they die ruling over their own planet.
Mormons believe in the same God and Christ, and the same bible that other Christians believe in. They are Christians by definition. Bible bashing is such a petty and arrogant thing.
Mormons do NOT believe there are multiple Gods and they do NOT believe they will become Gods over their own planet. That's just nonsense.
Like I said, educate yourself before making ignorant claims and perpetuating the same false information you've allowed yourself to buy into.
Mormons don't believe in Jesus the way Christians do. They believe he is a God himself and his brother was lucifer. The believe in God but also other individual Gods that they will one day become themselves. Does that sound like Christianity?
Go and look it up. Mormons won't tell you this when they come to the door trying to convert you, they add it on bit by bit. Go read the book of Mormon and other mormon holy books.
www.google.com/.../%3famp=1
The Book of Mormon is the most correct of any book on this Earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than any other book.
Joseph Smith, The Book of Mormon
Woah, that blog is incredibly inaccurate. It's no wonder you are so misinformed. Maybe you should look to more reliable sources for your "facts" than blogs authored by people who want just as desperately as you are to believe Mormons are evil.
The only thing you've posted here that was accurate is the quote by Joseph Smith. I can see why it would get your panties in a wad, but it still doesn't change the fact that Mormons are Christians. They have some different beliefs than you do, but they believe in all the things that make someone a Christian.
You are the stereotypical bible basher. People like you are one of the reasons I'm not Christian myself. You all have your own beliefs that are different from others, but you each think you're the only ones who are "right". It makes you look like petty morons to those observing from the outside.
I suggest you read the book of Mormon and the other books.
I have, multiple times. I was raised reading the bible. And as a non-Mormon in a Mormon community, you better believe I have been the "victim" of countless Mormon missionaries who encouraged me to read the BOM. So yeah, I have read all of it, multiple times.
I suggest you practice what you preach. Go find the proof of ANY of the claims you've made here in the Mormon doctrine, aside from the Joseph Smith quote, which I have already acknowledged, and bring them back here (sorry, blog posts don't qualify). You won't find them because they don't exist, but I'll wait here while you look. Go on now, make your case. Support your claims. I'll wait.
You haven't. We both know you haven't.
All three are Abrahamic (SP) faiths. The split happens later. Islam believes that Allah is merciful and that mankind is forgiven because He knows your short comings. So you don't need an additional Savior. Mormonism believes that the minute that Jesus died on the Cross all debt was paid. whether you want it or not.
Correct me if I am wrong.
Yes, I have. I live in Utah, dumbass.
Stop posting links to opinion pieces and educate yourself.
@AMS700CX4u2 you are absolutely right. Muslims are closer to being Christian than Mormons. Nowhere in Christianity does the bible say you will become a God when you die
@Gwendoline And nowhere in the Book of Mormon does it say that either.
Look, if you want to remain willfully ignorant about Mormon doctrine, that's your choice and I can't stop you. But if you want to actually understand what you're talking about and stop making an idiot of yourself online, I would encourage you to stop "educating" yourself with blogs and opinion pieces written by people who are just as ignorant as you are about Mormonism, and instead actually use Mormon sources to erase your misconceptions and replace them with facts.
I'm not here to educate you, but only to point out how misinformed you are. Educating yourself is your job. But if you choose to remain willfully ignorant, that's your choice too.
It's in there is read it.
No, it's not in there. I challenge you to find the reference from the Book of Mormon and share the exact quote here. You won't, because you can't, because it doesn't exist.
But go on and try. I'll wait...
Or, if you prefer to remain ignorant and continue making a fool of yourself here, that's you choice. But it's not a good look.
Your church is fake Catholics are not real Christian! I know your religion you Catholics worship Marie she is not God !
Catholic are the worst!
It's a Christian thing, you wouldn't understand
Religion is a personal matter and if I were inclined to marry, I would not care what religion she was as long as it was not a cult like, say, Scientology.
somethings needs to be done about Scientology, aka space age mafia cult
Under current laws I will not marry unless I were terminally ill and I wanted to pass my assets to someone without inheritance tax.
I would have a hard time marrying a Hindu, Jehovah's witnesses and an atheist. Rest seem alright to me.
Its gotta be miserable to be married to a practicing atheist, their whole world/religion revolves around other peoples beliefs.
That would explain the divorce rates I suppose.
Religion would not even come into it.
Only the " Bible belt " takes this nonsense that seriously.
Jehovah witness and Mormon woman are all judged mental KARENS! EWW NO !
I LOVE TO DATE YOU 😚😚😚😚
Yes, I would. Also, Mormons and Jehovahās Witnesses are Christians too. (Dw. A lot of evangelical Protestants incorrectly think Catholics arenāt Christians either.)
Catholics are the first Christians along with the orthodox church, eithiopian church, Armenian church, coptic church and some of the other middle Eastern churches.
Christians in general believe the same things based on the old and new testaments in the bible but Mormons like the Muslims have added to that such as the book of Mormon left for Joseph Smith to find by jews who lived in the Americas written down on gold tablets that only he could read by looking into his hat. Mormons believe that when they die they will become Gods and be given their own planet to rule and populate with spirit children through endless celestial sex. I mean Islam is closer to Christianity than mormonism.
Neither Mormons nor JWs believe the Biblical narrative about Jesus, so Neither are really Christian, especially Jehovah's Witnesses..
@Joshydavid25 absolutely right.
I'm an atheist. But if I had to marry someone from a religious background I'd choose a jew.
Sure, since I'm an atheist myself. As long as they don't force any belief on me.
Nope. I would be open to dating her if she was open to Christianity though. It's important to me that a mate shares my faith with me though.
Gave some serious thought to some cute Mormons and a Muslim
Probably not, but would have sex with them.
The Bible says not to be unevenly yoked
I'm agnostic but as long as someone didn't preach to me I wouldn't presch to her.
No , only Christian. And it's my right
Why would I marry?
Been there - done that - found better things to do.
As long as they don't over impose their norms on me
I'm not religious and yes I would, if they wouldn't try to impose their religion on me.
By the way, Mormons and Jehovah's witnesses are Christians too.
atheist for sure. buddhist maybe. i'm an atheist myself.
Yes. Also Mormons are Christian, I think Jehovah's Witnesses too.
Ah so you think Chinese communists are Christians and Hindus are Christians... Interesting position you have there... People just have to use a word, and that makes them whatever they want to be... So when a man want to be a women they just say they are and it makes it so. When they say they are a cat or an Apache helicopter, all they have to do is say it. You should probably check yourself into a mental institution, because you aren't grounded in reality. The Christian faith has specific criteria. Neither Mormons or Jehovah's Witnesses follow that criteria, thus they have their own religion. For example Mormons believe they can become Gods. That is not a Christian belief.
Chinese Communist and Hindi don't claim to be Christian nor do they even have Christ in their name. Also Mormons follow the Bible; both Old and New Testaments. They believe in the sacrifice of Christ on the cross and the resurrection 3 days later. They believe Jesus to be the Son of God made flesh. If that doesn't qualify you as a Christian then Catholics aren't Christian either.
The various Christian groups basically believe in the old testament and the new testament, but Mormons like Muslims have added their own book which they view as more important. So to Mormons the book of Mormon is the most important like how the quran is the most important to Muslims. Also Mormons believe that when when they die they will be given a planet to rule over and populate with spirit children by having celestial sex with their wife/wives. They also believe that 2000 years ago when Jesus rose again that he transported Jews over to the Americas where they built thd pyramids until the dark skinned natives killed them all off in 400 AD. there were also other Jews there. Joseph smith like Muhammad for the Muslims is seen as more important than Jesus Christ, so Mormons are about as Christian as Muslims are, maybe less so.
Mormons also believe Jesus is a "creation" of a spiritual Mother and a spiritual Father in contrast to the Bible that teaches about a Triune God that is outside of creation. The Son (Jesus) or the Word has always existed in Christian theology.
John 1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Mormons have a completely different God in their religion.
Jehovah witnesses are like Mormons and have made up a lot stuff to suit themselves such as Jesus wasn't crucified on a cross but in a single upright piece of wood, thdy believe Jehovah is thr true name of God which catholics kept hidden yet Jehovah is a latin word, they believe Jesus wasn't the son of God, they believe in the Cathars doctrine yet the catharsis believed there was two God's.
The Book of Mormon is another Testament of God it does not supercede the Bible. Mormons don't believe in getting a planet to rule over when they die. They believe in Heaven and Hell and that they go to one of those when they die. I have only heard about celestial sex from people that don't know what Mormonism is; but claim it is a cult. Joseph Smith II is considered a prophet of the church and is therefore lesser than Jesus the Messiah.
Mormons believe in the spiritual Trinity of God, The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. There is no mother.
No heavenly mother you say...

Yes, mormons and jehovah Witnesses are Christians.
It's all in this cartoon made by the mormon church
https://youtu.be/n3BqLZ8UoZk?si=VOxmZ8e20qTV4JvA
@gwendoline you need to go back to school. Mormons and jehovah witnesses are Christians.
@shortster I think she's trolling because no one can literally be this stupid
No this what the Mormons believe. They have their own books that aren't in the bible such as the book of Mormon, The Doctrine and Covenants, Pearl of Great Price. Look it up. These books talk of Mormon faithful becoming Gods and being given a world to rule over after they die to populate with spirit children. They believe the native Americans were Jews. Why even the book of Mormon was based on Gold tablets Joseph Smith found in America left by the last living neophite Jew in America for him to find. He translated the tablets through a hat.
@shortster mormons are Christians and so are jehovah witnesses anyone with brain and a pulse knows that. And this isn't the 1830s it's 2025. Get with the times , stop people pleasing, you know they're Christians.
@gwendoline get a life, friends , an education and stop trolling. No one's this stupid
@GlowUpGirly5 are Muslims and Jews also Christians?
@gwendoline are you really dense or are you trolling? If you're really this dense then you're most likely intellectually delayed. Normal people know the answer to this.
@GlowUpGirly5 where in bible does it say that when we die that we become Gods ourselves and will be given a planet each to populate with spirit children through endless celestial sex? Or how about Jews building the pyramids? Or how about there being more than one God? Is that Christianity? I suggest you read up on all this as you clearly haven't. Being ignorant of the subject and being unwilling to do basic research shows a lack of intelligence on your part.
@gwendoline yeah you're slow dear.
@GlowUpGirly5 no excuse for ignorance in 2025 when all you need is Google and the ability to read.
@gwendoline yeah you're a bit slow hun.
@GlowUpGirly5 you are projecting your own perceived inadequacies on to me dear.
@shortster Yes, it is the official web site of the Mormon Church. That is what Mormons believe. like I said, it is an entirely different religion than Christianity with a different "god". Gwendoline's comparison to Islam is a pretty good one, considering Islam calls Isa (Jesus) a creation of Allah and Mormons also call Jesus a creation of the spiritual Father and Mother in their religion. They consider Jesus less than God. Mormons also use Freemason symbolism as do Sufi Muslims. They share many parallels, but have some differences as well. Mormons are definitely more like Muslims than Christians and Mormons and Muslims both steal from Christianity and arrive with false prophets to lead people away from Christianity through an anti-Christ.

@docster Catholicism doesn't disagree with the Bible. There is a schism between Roman Catholicism and churches like the Assyrian Church of the East vs Eastern Orthodox that has minor disagreements over christology and the authority of the Pope and what not, but in general they are pretty solidly in line with the Bible with minor disagreements. I take it that you are some flavor of Protestant since you take issue with Roman Catholics and are blinded by rage. Clearly the Protestant churches have some issues, but they are close enough to be considered Christians when they are true trinitarians. That said, I would not argue with the notion that the current anti-Pope is out of line with the Bible, Clearly the guy is saying plenty that is out of line with the Bible, but like I said he is an anti-Pope and part of the deep church, but that is a separate issue. That out of the way, Catholicism isn't a works based religion as in your works will save you. Catholics believe the just shall live by his faith, that is to say you live out your faith and as a result you do works. They are a byproduct of your faith, not a payment for your sins.
You can't just call your self a Christian and be saved. That would be hypocrisy. Christianity is a lifestyle and your faith will influence your behavior. You're suppose to be steadfast in your faith, but if you fall short you repent. You have to make an honest effort and that leads to good works.
You americans are very incompetent and uneducated. You guys never read, never do research you just gossip
To the retarded spazzing out in the background that doesn't know they are blocked... The Messiah (Christ) according to prophecies has to be eternal. That means the Messiah has no beginning or end. You can't be eternal if you are created. By being a creation, you would have a beginning that is determined by a creator. The prophecies in the Bible also state that the Messiah is the creator of all. Thus if the Messiah is created by God, then the Messiah is not the creator of all because he has in fact been created. Those prophecies in the Bible also state that the Messiah is God, so if their God is greater than the Messiah, then the Messiah isn't God. These are just a few basic logical problems that both Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses have with the Bible. Thus Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses don't believe Jesus is the Messiah (The Christ) which logically means they are not Christians by the word's very definition. So stop spamming bullshit.
@Gwendoline the Book of Mormon is the Testament of God in the Americas following the Jarrodites, a group that left for America after the Tower of Babel and the Nephites and Lamanites, a family of Jews that left Israel before the Babylonian captivity (Nephi and Laman were brothers, but during their lives they became rivals and the family split up into two groups based on this rivalry). The Doctorine and Covenants is a record of the Church's dealings with relations to God. The Pearl of Great Price is a heretical book from Brigham Young so he could introduce polygamy into the Church; despite the fact that Joseph Smith II publicly stated that polygamy was against Church doctrine and had a passage put into the Doctrine and Covenants to state just that.
@malarkey we don't worship a different God and Jesus is not considered less than God. You can consider Smith to be a false prophet if you want to; but he wasn't antichristian.
@docster Mormons believe in the Holy Bible as Canon.
Thank you!!! lol I don't know why these Americans are incapable of reading. no wonder their test scores are so low. This wasn't difficult to understand. Mormons and jw are Christians
@shortster not all Americans but the ignorant ones who refuse to educate themselves on other cultures and religions like the commenter and poster not knowing you guys are Christians and calling you guys a cult. I'm not even mormon yet know mormons and jw are Christians they just don't follow the trinity
Yep, Mormons are definitely like Muslims, lying over and over again even when confronted with their own religious text. I already showed you from the official Mormon Church website about the Spiritual Mother and Spiritual Father of all creations which you previously denied. It should be clear by now that Mormons believe in spiritual procreation of a mother and father to "create" all spirit children,, which Mormons believe Jesus was the first of. As a result Mormons have a polytheistic view of creation and Jesus is considered a creation, thus not eternal as in has always been and always will be. There was a point when Jesus began in Mormonism which flies directly in the face of the Bible. It's just a fact of the religion. You're too embarrassed to face your own beliefs so you lie about them.
Jehovah witnesses do not follow the trinity. Mormons do but not the traditional way
@shortster the guy you're tagging is a troll account. I'd ignore him
@GlowUpGirly5 Muslims hold the bible as canon too and like Mormons they've added to it texts that they consider more important
@gwendoline, is that a problem? I'm not sure where you're going with this topic. But there are also Christian Muslims, it's called "chrislam." I think you should read more before speaking. Many will find your approach and things you say about someone's religion insulting, especially Muslims. If you go in public making those remarks, it's not off limits for someone of the Muslim culture to behead you. It happened 3 years ago in Europe.
@gwendoline cause if you keep displaying ignorance, lack of cultural/diversity, lack of intellect, men will definitely find you boring, and you'll end up with someone low value at your level mentally. So pick up a book.
One of the basic principles of Christianity is that there is one God not multiple God's and not that we will become God's ourselves when we die
Yet when you die you will become a God yourself ruling over your own world?
Look into it. If you are ever talking to Mormons on your doorstep they will start telling you how they are Christian and how they believe in the bible, then they will start telking you about how there's are other books the church doesn't teach about. Ancient Jews in America is not something Christians or even Jews believe.
Mormonism also has a lot of freemasonry rituals that Joseph Smith incorporated from his time as a freemason
The later day saints are the mormon church. Like scientology there are levels in the mormon church and a lot is taken from freemasonry rituals
The Mormon Church split into about 6 churches after the death of Joseph Smith II, as he said his son, Joseph Smith III, would be the next leader of the church. Only Trip was 3 at the time of his father's death. So Brigham Young took the opportunity to take hold of the church, with the majority of the members following, and moved out to Utah, waited 40 years and introduced polygamy. Those that knew Young wasn't supposed to be in charge stayed and formed the 5 other churches. The when Joseph Smith III became old enough to lead the church he started the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The church follows the Aaronic Priesthood system created by Israel under Moses. If that is what you mean by levels? But no we don't follow free masonry rituals.
You follow free masonry rituals and symbols that you've adapted to suit.
Wrap this conversation up please this has been going on for days. I'm tired of the alers
Alerts move on
How do you think I feel? I have to argue with three people on the Internet about what I believe and every time I say, hey I believe this they are like no you don't you believe something completely different. Now admittedly there was some confusion about Mormonism and the LDS church. Which they seem to think that the LDS church is the only one within Mormonism; and my belief that the LDS church is mostly similar to the rest of us, with the major exception of our doctorine on Polygamy (which they came back to our position after the 1890s and only splinter groups still practice, FLDS for example).
Plus I think that you can turn off updates from this conversation since it isn't your response or your question.
@malarkey For the sake of all the members of the RCC, I hope you're right about not relying on works to pay for sins. I have no rage, just concern for catholics, including several of my family members. I trust that catholics are no longer doing penance or going to a priest to be forgiven of sins.
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9)
From the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC): "We can merit for ourselves and for others the graces needed for the attainment of eternal life" (paragraph 2010)
Canon 9, 6th session, (Catholic) Council of Trent says: "If anyone says the sinner is justified by faith alone, meaning that nothing else is required to cooperate in order to obtain the grace of justification, let him be anathema."
Other places in the CCC say the requirements for salvation are: (paragraphs in parenthesis)
baptism (1257), church membership (845), the sacraments (1129), obeying the commandments (2068), good works (1821), and the sacrifice of the mass.
Most of this info is from a book by a former Catholic, Mike Gendron, author of Preparing for Eternity. Mike also has a website at proclaimingthegospel. org.
@malarkey Look up the definition of "CULT" There is a Denotation , what the word actually means. and there is a connotation, what the word has come to mean. Example:Gay , Denotation Happy Joyous. Connotation: Homosexual. Cult is a way of doing things usually religious that is different from the standard accepted practice. When Jesus started His ministry, Judaism was not forgiving sin , only covering it. He was doing many things that upset the priest and temple workers. As far as they were concerned Jesus was a cult leader and challenging their authority. That explains the late night trial which occurred after curfew.
Doesnāt it say that Christianās arenāt supposed to marry atheists in the Bible?
1 Corinthians 7:12-14
12 But to the rest I, not the Lord, say: If any brother has a wife who does not believe, and she is willing to live with him, let him not divorce her. 13 And a woman who has a husband who does not believe, if he is willing to live with her, let her not divorce him. 14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.
Wouldnāt they always clash tho? What religion would they raise their children in?
Obviously Catholic lol
But say the mother is catholic and the fatherās an atheist , wouldnāt they clash over that?
Iām not gonna get into religion. Anyone can practice what they believe.
