There was a quotation in my Buddhism book when I was a student, that there is no perfect place on earth without problems or suffering, thoughts?

Like I used to think Miami was perfect until they got the hurricanes and then I thought California was perfect until they got the wild fires, and I used to think that the Greater Toronto Area had good places to live until the new incidences of hate crimes against Muslims and Jews and Asians. Hamilton used to be a great place to live but apparently they have very high cancer rates due to pollution and fumes from factories.
