What would this dream mean, was it a message from God or a test?

I had a dream that after I finalized my recent two research projects, coming up with ideas would be super easy cause I now had a template for generating data so did not have to do foot work or innovative thinking anymore. In my dream I was given one aspect of my work as an example and shown how that aspect was so easy to use, handle and process and how the entire data set I made would be equally easy to use. The thing is I was going to discard one of the projects I came up with cause I thought it could lead to corruption if it was given into the wrong hands. It was basically a powerful psychological control tool that could make any villain extremely popular and any good person extremely popular.

What would this dream mean, was it a message from God or a test?
