There was always something suspicious about this pope. The previous pope suddenly resigned for no apparent reason, when no pope had done so since 1200. Every pope, no matter how poor their health or how big their scandals continued until death. He was the only pope ever in 2,000 years of popes to come from the Western hemisphere, or the Southern hemisphere for that matter, with no reason ever given. He was highly political, completely inappropriate for someone in that position. He came from an extremely uncommon background given the long history of the papacy.
I'm certainly no more sad than any other person dying, and far less sad if it were someone that I actually respected and/or cared about.
I can’t say that I’m personally sad but he seemed like a good person so his death is sad

No offense intended but the fact is "old people die" he was age 90. So lived more than average and died "as expected".

I have mixed feelings.
