Are we in a world today who has no respect for the dead?

There was a couple of questions related to pope francis passing away, i was shocked how many people were disrespectful towards his death and made fun of it ☹

It's a shame how many people in this world have no respect for the dead, even though this man was a spiritual leader for more than 20% of earth's population and a symbol for Christians worldwide!

For these people i say, pope Francis earned the love of god and now he's in heaven with him, your disrespectful opinions and insults are just lame and useless!

You can have the opinion that you want but speaking logically, why would you hate a good person wether especially if he's dead, don't like him but why the disrespect for his death?

I think the world chsnge when Nixon was president. People lost a lot of respect for politicians, even the president. Imagine if Joe Biden died. There would be jokes about tit on the internet about how nobody would notice before the end of the day.

In death there are no ranks and no positions, it's simply a human being who had died, they are all the same, we respect the dead because they are humans made by god but sometimes we feel sad and sometimes we just feel neutral depending on the person who had died if he/she was a good person or not...

There was a kid who bullied me in the 8th grade. H took his fathers car out for a joyride and wrapped it around a tree and died. I went to the wake and I was glad he was dead. I never had to deal with him again.

I agree! The devil is having the time of his life spreading hate and discontent right now but his time is coming and God isn't pleased with him at all - so his days are numbered until the wrath of God is upon him and it won't be pretty either!!

He did nothing to them, he's a pope who loved everyone and wanted everyone to be happy a d to live in peace, it's just that there will always be people who are demonic and lacks respect!

No human was loved by everyone, there will always be haters!
