There doesn't seem to be. This war in particular seems so gruesome and sadistic; so many women are having abortions; people dismiss people out of their lives for the smallest of the things; people seem down right cruel to each other, etc.

Considering we're currently living in the most enlightened time in history (sounds absurd, right? What's more absurd is the reality that as humans we used to be much more barbaric... and whatever particular time you go back to in history to gather
examples of barbaric human nature, be sure you realize that nature was part of normal everyday life).

For instance, we're not executing people in the most ridiculously barbaric ways possible anymore, at least not legally or officially, but at one time in many cultures horrific public executions were a weekly or monthly thing, or even a special attraction. And we think kids are exposed to disturbing stuff today. Kids had to grow up in that reality, so shielding them from it actually would've been a detriment to how they will cope as adults.

"the war"? America initiated a pointless war that lasted most of the current century.

"abortions"? current abortion rates are literally as low as they were at the time roe v wade was going through the courts.

People suck. Been that way throughout history. Why every generation makes up reasons why it's worse now makes no sense. Progress is a slow but constant thing.

There are some good reasons why a woman may choose to have an abortion. For example, if the fetus's life is in danger then it's better for the woman to have an abortion rather than go through the entire pregnancy and give birth.

@Cherry234 Yeah that sounds very religious and old to me too but yeah I think there is still respect for human lives even now because if there wasn't then the world would have been unimaginably darker and the problems we are facing now would quadruple so yeah I think there are still a lot of good people out there and for me the looks or really anything doesn't matter, what matters is how well someone understands my true feelings and true intentions and if she does then I am onto to her and that actually happened to me a few months ago about 6months now and I think will try to understand her as much as I can like she understood me and she really did understood me like no one which is why I respect her a lot. And by her I mean a girl I have been talking to from quite a while now.

@InstantKarma194 A lot of pro-lifers are hypocrites so I can't take what they say seriously. If they were at least vegetarians/vegans then I would consider what they're saying. Some of them support the death penalty and some of them are even hunters. They go crazy if a woman aborts a fetus which isn't a conscious human being but they have no problem killing animals (which actually are conscious living beings). You're lucky to find someone who really understands you. I hope it works out for you. Keep talking to her.
