thing is, nowadays, we have social networks and we are wired to them and to many others all day, every day... so it feels like an overload, an overload or negative information and feedback, so our perceptions can be quite biased
we do see what we want to see..
It called follow your leader all the smart wise followers of trump want to act just like him a d are doing so thinking there's no repercussions from there acts of evil it's either that or it's the cleaning of the planet only the meek shall inherit the earth
I think it's mainly the effect of the internet creating distance from people, and giving an anonymized voice to their innermost thoughts. It's emboldening people in some ways, and reinforcing patterns of thought and behaviour that are against the greater good of society.
I've noticed that, I feel that humans are about be extinct. We are destroying our planet, killing, stealing and being more and more greedy and selfish. The more I see, the worst humans look to me.

I think that because media focuses too much on revealing only bad side of people bombarding us every day with tragic news, we're starting to get desensitized about the human suffering, being apathetic to our brothers and anything that was created by our own hands. At the same time they show us only the good and beautiful side of nature, like the cute lion cubs playing around the savannah, the little turtle laying their eggs, and so on. If you despise humanity of course you'll also lose respect for your own humanity, you will then question the value of life, the value of being a good and kind person until you turn into a beast.
Essentially, the lack of a solid education, moral structure and the immediate availability of anything made the new generations lazy, complacent and without respect.
That's why in my political role as mayor I follow the "less is more" approach, and encourage children to partake in afterschool activities of public benefit - same goes for teens, unemployed and marginalized - nobody is excluded, and everyone is necessary!
I believe it is because we live in this era of sensitivity were everyone's opinion matters and nobody can ever be shamed any more. So this means every whack-a-whoo can get out there and speak "their truth", and real factors don't matter anymore.
But honestly if you had to blame anyone, then blame the "silent major", we don't promote these social activist groups that shame the majority into silence by making themselves the loudest voice in the group.
People don't unite because of a lot of reasons, especially now, we all live a life for ourselves and anyone entering our life is seen as a threat. Then we have schools trying to make us into robots which leads us not knowing what our real passion is. Passion and common thinking grounds unite people.
It all starts as children. The way they were raised and the society they are surrounded with. Society is egotistical, loud mouthed and disrespectful... parents need to teach them character and respect, manners. If the parents don't and let TV and social media and their friend group raise them you'll get little ass holes.
Your right, people are caring less about others and being more selfish. Which is fine, one has to have a certain degree of being selfish, if you cannot take care of yourself first you cannot care about anyone else.
What we need is a real good alien invasion to unite all of mankind, that always works in the movies.
Values have changed as many people think just do whatever the hell you want and if that causes a problem in the future, it is the other persons issue not mine.
Not much of face to face interaction or phone calls. No real connection with people. And anonymous also helps. Just spit vomit what ever comes to your mouth totally without being inconsiderate of how would I feel if someone wrote that to me. Or what if I this to a big tall angry looking dude at the gym.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed this. I think it’s because people aren’t being taught the value of life itself plus there’s a big breakdown occurring on the value of love and family. Also I’ve worked with younger men and women who despise each other and only value materialistic things. Watching bottlenose dolphins save the lives of other species and humans always make me say what are we doing wrong and they are doing right?
Because they don't. People are focused solely on themselves. Empathy is a foreign thing. And the powers that be know that the more division there is, the easier it is to control.
Yes. People are into themselves and against others. This virus.. This CANCER has been around for 4 years. And this cancer is getting worse.
Indolence and complacency, we've gotten too comfortable and have forgotten all the hard work and hardship it took to reach this. We are an ungrateful bunch.
people are full of hate, the media social media is making it worse. how can people choose hate over love i will never understand.
The worlds going crazy about the COVID, It's affecting people in many ways that is why I don't watch the news too much
Because most people only care about themselves and their personal needs. Love or respect to other person today is very rare.
Because they don't. Mankind is circling the drain. Amazing to think that some people actually believe things are getting better in the world.
Because people choose the short term rewards from being a trash human over long term rewards from being a good person.
It happens to EVERY civilization sooner or later. It's called the Decline of the American Empire.
Cause that's human nature? It's always been this way. Focus on the good.
Ask the people who want to force toxic science experiments on other people's bodies.
How so? Crime and living standards are at all time good levels.
