Do you find karma follows people around more when you do not go out of your way to ask for it or enforce it?

Like I find bad things are more likely to happen to people who treat me badly, if I do not want bad things to happen to them. And good things are more likely to follow people who do good things for me, if I am less grateful for the good things they do for me.

I had a dream where God told me that if I try to fight my enemies on my own, I would be interfering with God's ability to fight them for me.

I think there's a certain poetic symmetry to what you’re saying. Karma, or whatever you want to call that energy of consequences and ripples we leave behind, seems to work best when it’s left to do its thing without us trying to steer it or demand it. When people obsess over seeing someone “get what they deserve,” it often backfires or just leaves them bitter and waiting. But when you stay in your lane, live clean, treat people well, and don’t go hunting for cosmic justice, life has a way of quietly evening the scales over time. It’s like that idea of letting the water settle to see the reflection clearly. The more you splash around, the longer it takes for things to align naturally. And maybe karma isn’t even supernatural. Maybe it’s just the social, emotional, and practical consequences of how we move through the world — but those consequences tend to catch up. Not always when we want, not always how we expect, but they rarely miss entirely.
