He's not who I wanted, but I'm willing to give him a chance. From what I've gathered so far, I don't think he'll be as bad as some of my fellow traditionalists and conservatives think he might be (apparently, when he was in Chicago, he was registered as a Republican!).

From what I'm seeing, he's more willing and able to listen to the aforementioned conservatives and trads (moreso than his unholy predecessor). So I could see some loosening of restrictions on the Traditional Latin Mass that Francis enforced. He apparently called out JD Vance on Twitter earlier this year because of Vance's statements on the "ordo amoris", or the order of love (for the record, I'm more in the Vance school of thought there), but I could see them being able to have a reasonable discussion about it.

In the end, like I've said in many other places, wait and see.

He's from Chicago and part of the ultra-leftist Obama machine, and he's gay, which is against everything in the Bible. Priests and popes are not supposed to have sex or marry women, much less men, so how is being an "active gay" possible in this context?

Pope Francis was the test pope for how turning the world leftist and woke would go, now this is the pope who will do it.

Of course the news media is just swallowing anything they feed them without questioning it, even Fox News.

Getting mixed reports on who this guy is. Most say he's socially conservative, while also being liberal on things like immigration. The immigration thing isn't surprising being he's also in charge of Catholic charities.
